    observation: For your lighting addition - does that Kubota have a "field light" circuit to hook up to? My Deere does for rear only, they hide it under the rear seat. The available pre-fused circuit it handles plenty of diodes. Also the factory rocker switches have extra blank spots for any future, The problem is you gotta "fish" your wires up the rops halfway to cleanly get to the switches. Sorry to bore. I like a clean stealth install.

    • @OrangeismyNewGreen
      @OrangeismyNewGreen  3 роки тому

      My Kubota also had an additional connector at the rear, they use blue tape to identify it. 👍🏻

    Nice job! I've done many of these same mods. That loader bracket seems to have disappeared from some of the recent loaders...I don't know if Kubota changed the loader spec for the LA344. Those light protectors are very nice - I nearly broke off my flashers a number of times before I purchased a couple guards from the Shorts.

      Seth Dunn - Thanks Seth, that’s where I wanted to buy the guards from but some issues with delivering in my province 🤷🏼‍♂️. Thanks for watching 👍🏻

    Hi Luc, I'm getting a BX tractor this spring. I looked at different options on UA-cam to add a rear blast to a tractor. Your blast setup looks to be a good one for my needs. I like the idea of using suitcase weights for blast so I can use them for other situations when needed. If it is not asking too much. Can you share the design/dimensions of your rear blast hitch? Thank you... love your channel. - Chris

    • @OrangeismyNewGreen
      @OrangeismyNewGreen  5 місяців тому +1

      Good morning Chris, congrats on getting a new BX, you are going to love it 👍🏻. Here’s where I got the idea from ua-cam.com/video/IRnGHuMuqDE/v-deo.htmlsi=_AYQXReHCWT_17Xk . The flat bar stock is 3 inch W x 35 inches L x 3/8” thick. I purchased the JD LP25001 3 point hitch receiver and had the bar welded to it. The welder also added a bar under the receiver hitch with two holes to hook chains. Unfortunately I think JD no longer sells that model. Hope this helps Chris 🙋🏼‍♂️👍🏻

    Great addons and especially your tool box bracket as it utilizes the holes you already have in your ROPS. I have an orange tool box almost the same as yours and would love to use your idea. I have a 2020 BX 1880 with loader only right now. I have a much shorter gravel drive and with edge tamers I have no problem plowing with my bucket. I can even keep a path across my back yard to my barn and in float mode I never dug up any sod whatsoever. Also do you have a link to the LED bulbs you used as the 1880 and the 2380 use the same ones. I purchased the very last 1880 on the lot at my dealer and was unable to get the quick change bucket system but will order one later this spring or summer when this Dang Covid allows for a better supply to the dealers.

    Why didn’t you get the quick attach for the loader hoses. That round bracket on your loader is to store the quick attach hydraulic assembly when you take off your loader

      Hi Dan, I do have the swift tach loader with the single point connector and I use that single hole to support my connector when the loader is removed, I was just wondering why some loaders had the double bracket instead of the single one like I have. @@OrangeismyNewGreen hmm . . My OEM were the 886 style from 10 years ago. Those were road legal. Like you I upgraded my forward facing hood to the extra-stupid-bright Sylvania X11,v same base socket, which are noticeably brighter and illegal but are a lower current draw. Caution: The cree 881 vary in current draw and can melt your poly lenses, The reason: I added diodes under my Deere hood. Silly I know but the green of course diodes make the appearance there is a monster in there. If I were using the old 886 halogen (which is common on a zillion car/truck/tractor fogs to this day ) then i would risk blowing the front light circuit. In a nutshell be careful out on the road. You will temporarily blind people with those lamps mounted a mear 3 feet apart. For that solution I can switch off the Deere hood lights and turn on a forward set up on my rops. With all my 12 million lumens I can melt snow when plowing snow around the neighborhood. Providing it isn't still snowing which becomes the same problem as in your car with high beams. Your low beam is low for a reason.

    Hello, I'm curious about the light shrouds you want to get, is this due to the amount of light blinking out, and perhaps disturbing neighbours ? You're the first one to talk about these, so it's very interesting.

    • @OrangeismyNewGreen
      @OrangeismyNewGreen  3 роки тому +2

      No, they protect the light from being knocked off or broken, this is where I first saw them - www.specialtyrepairscustommods.com/bx-2380-light-guards, but unfortunately they don’t ship to Quebec, legal thing 🤷🏼‍♂️. Also, I noticed I didn’t answer why I bought the spacers, just wanted more stability, I noticed a difference 👍🏻.

      @@OrangeismyNewGreen Ohhhhh ! I see that... wow those are really well made ! and that is strange why there would be a restriction.... a few pieces of metal LOL, you gotta just wonder why. Thanks on the spacers... I hope you do a video one day on those, I'd be interested to see. BTW, snow will be arriving soon, make sure you have your batteries charged up. BTW, what dealer did you go to in the Gatineau area ? There is none, so maybe it was a few hours from you, towards Mtl maybe.
