I'm a newbie here sir ..I did what your doing for 17 years I'm now disabled and can no longer work. Lived north of Chicago my whole life at 50 I moved to Alabama I'm a storm chaser and this in your video is why we preach to never rely on outdoor sirens they can and often do fail. I've heard of many that have gotten injured or worse because they didn't hear sirens before they got hit that was the positive take away from said video. My brothers house was destroyed in Omaha. He's moving to Florida. Hurricanes. Hurricanes are scarier than tornadoes.
Those storms were such an awful situation for so many. Paige is just so funny. She gave me a laugh that I really needed today. Paige and Troy are amazing kids. They have amazing parents. Please stay safe, and God bless.

Move to the mountains they told me, tornadoes don't hit in the mountains they told me. I did, and a tornadoe struck the Petro truckstop near me and destroyed it and half the town. I may as well be in Kansas.

That is an EF5 tornado with about 318 mph wind. I was in an F2 tornado, and it jumped over the Jr High School, and the principal got hit by some flying glass we all were fine but I thought it was a fright train going by because the train tracks are 300ft away from the school
There's many good moments in our lives, I think topping them all is family and friends legitimately recognizing proud parents and the reasons for that. Mom and Dad Schmidt have all the best reasons for family pride. Congratulations.

Well you got through the storms and everyone is safe, made it through prom, now graduation, my boys are all through high school and college, my oldest daughter graduates college on Saturday and the last daughter graduates high school the following Saturday, I will miss the college graduation but was told to be there for the youngest ones high school one. Since I'm on the road right now, but I will be back by Monday and work on getting ready for all that, good luck to your daughter on her graduation and future

The big one that went through Elkhorn and Bennington came within 3 miles of me, I could hear it, my ears finally popped a few days ago, power was out for 4+ hrs so I missed the news, wasn't really up for watching.... Stay safe!
It’s good they has missed you. That one was huge. That storm was the closest to twister movie I felt. The lights for me kept going off and I couldn’t get good tv reception on my phone. But I am in Clive and my apartment is fine from it. Clive is idea Moines suburb. Wells area is in downtown Des Moines right before the east side of Des Moines starts.
Watched one tear a barn apart from about half a mile away once. Don't want to ever be that close again. Glad the family is all ok. Poor pups sure don't like the siren 😂

What a proud dad! Front caliper sticking high mileage replace the flexible brake lines not letting fluid go back.
I agree, I found flex lines that collapsed. Not sure if brake fluid was the culprit or just junk hoses. And I may need to come paint those garage walls for ya.

Count your blessings. I was out on the road when all that stuff was taking place. It's hard to be out on the road when that stuff is going on back home. I was just as worried as you were if not worse.

Kurt real quick my wife and I have a cat that is 18 he has arthritis in his hind end. We opted for a monthly shot for him which is equivalent to what dogs would get. It’s a miracle how much better he is . We noticed a huge difference within days of shot. It’s month two and he’s a new kitty. Anyway god bless good luck with the pups

luckily storms missed you.im in southern mn we always safe it seems.i only saw baseball hail and green sky once that was back in 99 or 2001.i been watching storm chasers down in oklahoma and texas this week they have tornados all week some apple sized hail coming down at 100mph no tanks

I was in a E5 tornado in 1979 here in Wichita falls Texas I hate tornados so bad
This year so far Kentucky has 20 0r 30 something tornado and 2 small tornadoes hit on the outskirts of town and each side

I'm glad they both had a good time at prom! And that the storms missed you all. Thoughts and prayers for those that were effected. Be careful talking crap anywhere near a Ford. They take it really personal. I've you have to tell them how good they are and they will start or run better. Mom was the bookkeeper at our local Dodge place so all my life we've usually had a Dodge/Chrysler and /or Ford/ Mercury/Lincoln. I like them both as long as they stop when needed and run decent. Pet the pups and you all stay safe out there.

We have a good friend that lives close to Irwin Ia. Their address is Manilla Ia but they was 5 miles from one of them. When you have the brakes apart get you some nails and keep in your truck. That way when you need to block off one you can put it in the brake line that way if you have a brake hangup you can put the nail in the line and still use the truck.
So glad the tornado missed y'all but hope you get back to trucking soon also sending prayers to everyone that god will keep them safe
"Now they go off!" 😄 I can't imagine having a huge tornado like that coming through and the siren doesn't go off. People were contacting me, but we were okay in this part of the state. I don't know if that was the same time when we got a storm with hail, or if it's just doing crazy stuff every day now. The weather has been wild, even without a tornado.
Sirens went off once when I was having a business lunch at Chili's - they made us stand around in the kitchen. Nowhere to sit and we were probably there for close to 30 minutes. Glad y'all are okay.

I’m 20 minutes from Elkhorn in South O they got crushed🙏🏻.
Just before your video, a BNSF Freight Conductor had video in the train locomotive cab when a Tornado passed over the locomotive, both the Conductor & Engineer dropped to the floor as the tornado hit the train, the Locomotives stayed on the tracks, but many of the freight cars were DERAILED OFF the tracks. The windshileds of the locomotive were CRACKED, but didn't penetrate the locomotive. That train most likely is still PARKED, as cracked windshields mean the locomotive is NOT LEGAL to run..Guessing BNSF will need to get a WRECK cleanup crew & RESCUE locomotive to Move the train when freight cars are RE-Railed if moveable.

I understand just what you are talking about the tornado came really close to Oklahoma city I only live about 2 hours from Supher Oklahoma and Meirtta Oklahoma it was definitely bad here by the way Troy looked like a million dollar man in that tuxedo and Paige was definitely beautiful you raised some great kids 👏🏾

i prefer a new vehicle that i put my own issues on it !! drive the wheels off then get a new one again . that said , i would take to the Ford dealership, spend a few $100 and a couple of days for them to check it out bumper to bumper so you know what's wrong with it then fix it yourself if able to
