I get that feeling. When I'm depressed I listen to much more music. Strangely enough DSBM or other sad music makes me happier. Or I just don't feel I have anything to complain about. Basically I feel like everyone has problems and it is just to carry on.
I fully understand this! I use music to deal with all my emotion. I have two bands to recommend if you haven’t heard them. The first is the band Kardashev. They put so much thought and emotion into their concept albums I can really get lost in their stories. Start with their latest album Liminal Rite. It has a very emotional story to it. The other band I recommend is Mournful Congregation from Australia. Great funeral doom band and I love getting lost in their music. Hope you are well Jo!
