Oh, man, I hate that the pass was on you but I just about wanted to stand up and applaud when Romero got around you. That pass was insane. It was also very sporting of him to give the position back at the very end, much respect for him. Much.
What a masterclass of precision there, so well controlled through the outside, just beautiful. Also felt that conflict, Steve deserved the position but the move was too good lol.
Glad I'm not the only one who struggles to listen to Steve's voice for 25mins, not becasue it's boring, he just has one of thsoe voices that luls you to sleep. Thinking about it, you probably wouldn't want Steve as your co-driver in a rally car. 😂
One of my favourite tracks in the game, I think last time they had it was last year ago Christmas time... They really need to do better with the daily race variety
Steve, I've been watching this channel for years and I just want to congratulate you on the last year specifically, seeing you go to the 'Ring and race has been inspiring, and it seems to have had a serious effect on your GT racing as well, up here battling with top players, all while still being very humble and a joy to watch. Keep it up!!
Really enjoyed this - good memories. I feel the TV shots at St Croix particularly around the bridge and water are some of the best in the game. Great video and racing
Fair play to Romero. Gigabrain move at the last minute in the final lap and conceded again right after to give back from the mistake he made earlier. What a racer. Well played to you as well Steve, cheers
Is it me, or does Polyphony make better fictional race tracks on Gran Turismo than Turn 10 does on Forza Motorsport? St Croix is a terrific circuit - a sort of Gallic shortened Nordschleife, only without a Rebel Tree. I appreciate the orange and black livery on the Supra, and I'm pretty sure Alex from FailRace does as well.
I must say your driving overall is very consistant, controlled and just really nice and satisfying to watch. I also miss apexes by so far I cannot see it without google maps.
The way you commented on your mistake at the end of the race shows sportsmanship imo. Humble is no easy feat. Happy new year Steve, best wishes and I hope the kids back in the Philippines are doing OK
I want to say that the last time we had this layout was around the same time last year in gr4 cars. This track is awesome and I haven't had a chance to drive it yet this week.
I agree about this track. I'm not great at it, but I love it. Layout B, the shortest one, is actually my favorite. But yeah, this track has such a great flow to it. It's a shame PD ignores is so much.
that romero guy is an absolute monster, back battling someone else and still gaining time on superGT, ate up that 2 second gap like it was nothing. the pace difference was so large it was like watching 2 different classes racing
I love St. Croix C, it’s my favourite track for hot lapping yet they choose the last week of the year when I’m away from the rig for 4 days to have is as DRC😕
I had a blast on this track yesterday, started p11 and finished p5, I really wanted Steve to drop a race on this track so badly and he did! Great race mate.
I haven't actually tried this race yet. I probably should since I just got a PSVR2 and should probably learn how to race with it. Also, my hoodie did arrive. I have to say, it looks fantastic and is really comfortable too.
Sir, you do realize that you are one of the best in the world also. You don't give yourself enough credit bro. It was you that got me into playing this game. You were the first UA-cam video I watched when I bought this game last year. Because of you, I bought a wheel and started taking this game more serious and got pretty damn good but I still have a long way to go. I know I'm not the only person that looks at you as a trailblazer in the game and one of if not the best around.
I've returned to gt7 this week after some months out and, what they did to group 3 cars? I tried the weekly challenge race at spa (the 60 minute one) to find out that all my group 3 cars are runnin more than 10 seconds slower than before, I'm not even getting near the 19th place car, my car is so slow on the straights that it is a complete joke, I remember completing laps on 2:20.0 mark, even sometimes on high 2:10, today my best lap was a 2:31!!! what they did to the cars?
I’ve hit a wall at 3:31 lap times I don’t know what it is I’m doing. I don’t understand how people get to 20’s I don’t know if it’s the setup or my line I’m using similar ways through the corner any tips that can apply to any tracks?
I guess I need to try the Supra. I've been using the Ford GT out of love for it and hate for the BMW Supra but after getting to A+ it really feels like it's at the end of its rope.
What Romero did is just a worldclass attitude. Yes you can makes mistakes and fight for your place but the end of the day you shouldnt be the "4sShol3".
Whenever I try to load up on of my liveries, the photo of the livery is blank and then it shows the loading circle but doesn’t load my livery. Does any know why that happens?
I don't see why the daily races are only 3 a week. Should be 5 or so. Give us more variety, maybe even offer a player vote for one of the following week's tracks.
Looks like you did pick up some tips from me on what not to do. Still needs work tho. If you need more tips, you know where to find me. See you when we collab.
I hate the Circuit de Sainte-Croix. Zero run-off areas, tight streets, bumpy asphalt, killer guardrails, etc. You're done for the second you hit the barriers or get into a bump.
Konsta starting from the back, not using the meta car, and finishing 5th is amazing.
Oh, man, I hate that the pass was on you but I just about wanted to stand up and applaud when Romero got around you. That pass was insane. It was also very sporting of him to give the position back at the very end, much respect for him. Much.

The way you drive is so smooth that it's hard not to fall asleep watching. Thanks for the content!
This is excatly how i fall asleep at night. Watching Steves smooth driving, with his smooth voice in the voiceover.
Glad I'm not the only one who struggles to listen to Steve's voice for 25mins, not becasue it's boring, he just has one of thsoe voices that luls you to sleep.
Thinking about it, you probably wouldn't want Steve as your co-driver in a rally car. 😂
@@Xerrea we're the nap squad, Haha
Guilty, but not in a bad way. He just has a smooth voice and the commentary is relaxed. I kind of hate super fake over exaggerated commentary anyways
I actually wanted to comment this months ago but i got scared i was gonna get roasted. Im glad im not the only one!
Wow, what a show of sportsmanship Romero 🎉 nice racing 🏎️

Thanks for the timely upload, i was just brushing my teeth getting ready to sleep so I needed a SuperGT video.
same
Hahahahha same with me bro :D There is strong sleep squad here :D
"Sent crawi" was the most terrible pronounciation I've ever heard, still gave me good laughs though. Good video Steve!
Say the word 'squirrel'. Okay then, we are even.
Steve is the only person i heard who pronounced this track name properly.
I didn't pay attention to how it's written and only now realized how hard he messed up 😂😂
Is it really our fault that french has to be so damn f ing french gaawdsanit

Good on romero for giving you back the position even after a good fight, you deserved it
Really enjoyed this - good memories. I feel the TV shots at St Croix particularly around the bridge and water are some of the best in the game. Great video and racing

Far better💯
I'd agree in general, but Forza has some legendary custom tracks. Fujimi Kaido was well done. Not for races, but for time trials and drifting.
Gran Turismo is by all means a better overall racing game series than Forza
@@DJ_Mooseknucks as a forza player, i agree as well :D. Sad GT is not on PC, dont want to spend so much money on PS5 just to play one game.
@@FelienczI feel the pain. Asetto Corsa is *too* simmy for me and the community can be difficult to break into. I wish I could enjoy GT on PC.
You are so humble Steve you kept up with all these top players!!

Nice touch with the cinematic edits.
That was just pure fun to watch. GT7, Super GT, the commentary. Was on the edge of my seat that last lap. Great racing all around.
Nice to see St. Croix finally rebounding from the pandemic
My nephew got a PS5 for christmas so he gave me his PS4 and I bought GT7. I love it so much! Alot more than FM.
Get used to using Motion Steering. It'll make you faster and prepare you for racing on a wheel.
Enjoy your new game !
I want to say that the last time we had this layout was around the same time last year in gr4 cars. This track is awesome and I haven't had a chance to drive it yet this week.
Saw the gt movie the other day, super happy you got a little cameo! Your hard work pays off!
I do love Sainte Croix! So much fun racing this week! My car of choice Ford GT Spec 2, 3:24.9 & gr4 at dragon trail is always fun as well.
I agree about this track. I'm not great at it, but I love it. Layout B, the shortest one, is actually my favorite. But yeah, this track has such a great flow to it. It's a shame PD ignores is so much.
Excellent racing and great sportsmanship too we all brake too late
Exactly, that is great sportsmanship

This was a great race, and you're right, an absolutely brilliant track. It really should feature more!

Great to hear that mate, thank you!
I love this track. Pound for pound one of the best in the game. Been fun running this race this week.
I have been watching reruns.. especially the shameless rammers parts.. and then boom new video. Happy holidays Steve. Thanks.
The look you gave the Belgian in Barry r 😂17:08
11:55 Barry R 💀
bro really tried for the infamous plug move
Never have I ever clicked so fast for Alex albon
Props to Romero for letting you through.
The track layout reminds me of the GT Manufacturers Cup trophy.
Watching intently from Canada and it’s almost more enticing to stay indoors and game along at -5°C/29°F
What an absolute sport Romero is, have to give him praise for the excellent sportsmanship from him.

11:55 sneaky Barry R. appearance
The guy in the foreground at 11:55 shadow realmed themselves

Wow this was insightful being new to racing
Try the Dodge Viper on this track configuration. It's a really nice fit.
Thanks for answering my only request Santa 🤞🏾
These guys go around that track in the time I take in a Gr.1!!! I may be using a controller, but I'm also shit
Thats some true sportsmanship from N Romero
what is a triple monitor mount used for when playing GT7?
I’m glad N. Romero let you pass because on the initial hit; he kept driving. Never slowed down
Another super enjoyable watch from SuperGT. Excellent driving Steve!
The the videos!!! All the love from Texas

One of the best videos I watched in your channel. Romero is true sportsman. Maximum respect
What are your settings? 360 degrees or 720 and what are your granturismo FFb settings

Is this your view for racing? I have the cockpit view but I do struggle sometimes getting a good sight on the corners
I was going to comment that Romero owed you the position and should have cut you a break but passing and giving up the spot is a cooler move.
Hello steve, McLaren here, we would like to contact you due to your performance im the gt3 class.
Good race man! What happend to the car in front at the end before the finish? No more gas?
Great race!
Somebody spun out at 11:55😂
wonderful race
Great racing, the genesis with the massive divebombs xD you love to see it
This was a great combo.
What is the red number that pops up next to the speed? Says 'MT' under it.
Seen a bead of sweat on that race. Well done
I wish this game was on PC.... I would instantly buy it

Nice one! The replay angles are looking great on this track as well. Especially when there's the odd Mazda in the pack screaming past every now.
I want to play online so bad, I'm new to PlayStation and just don't want to get embarrassed online.
Are there any unranked races
Race A is often unranked, and there is also player made lobbies in the lobby area of the game too for more freeform races :)

18 of the corners i can`t get right and usally wreck, apart from that i do ok
Do you play in 120hz mode?
God I hope they release this for PC at some point
How do you play online with a rolling race with a lot of players like your like right now
