Never have been so shocked in my life, I’ve played this game on the Wii when I was like 4 or 5 and the fact they even remembered Amigo is crazy
Samba de amigo first game is on sega dreamcast in 2000.
i saw him first on xbox 360 when i was like 9 on sega tennis he was a playable character with sonic and many other cool sega ips
Bruh your telling me. I remember the day my dad came home late at night after work with this game on the dreamcast and he rolled out the little mat and wired maracas it came with. Samba de amigo is forever ingrained in my mind lol

@@macuser7048 You’re right about one thing. Sega did loose the console war. Perhaps they are practically Nintendo’s humbled maid now, which is a far cry from their once excessively confident, competitive, warrior-like nature.
But despite loosing nearly everything, Nintendo still respects Sega and honors their legacy, because if they never crossed paths back then they may never have been prepared to survive the dawn of Sony and Microsoft. This is what Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games symbolizes, at least to me.
Nintendo gave Sega a home when they needed it the most. Out of gratitude and mutual respect, the two companies have continued supporting each other to this very day.
I don’t know about you, but I hope Mario and Sonic’s friendship continues to prosper for generations to come.
It's been more than 20 years since SEGA started releasing games on Nintendo consoles. It's not that big of a deal anymore. 🤦♂️

It's weird, Samba de Amigo is such a classic Sega property that it's easy to forget that there was only one game. I'm so happy to see this.
The dreamcast and wii remake and also the Japan only expansion pack for the game, which eventually made the content that made it to the wii version.

YES!!!!!!! I knew it had to happen at some point! The first time I had even HEARD of Samba de Amigo was when I played Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed when I was younger. I have started playing again and seeing Amigo on the tracks again just fills me up with nostalgia. I honestly want to see a remaster of Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed for the switch.
I've never expected amigo to be back, honestly I've never played this game back in the day before but now I'm interested on playing it!

well Balan Wonderworld was like Nights. If they do plan on reviving Nights and Jet Set Radio I hope they do Jet Set Raido first cause that one needs to be revived more than Nights at this point
@@sorathefiredragon7390 I'd say the oppsosite, honestly. We're already getting Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, but apart from the spectacular art and sound design, NiGHTS and Balan are vastly different in terms of gameplay. Not to mention that Balan got very, VERY bad reception from the gaming community, while people seem to have even better expectations for BRC with each piece of news that comes out., but I suppose we'll have to wait and see. Either way, if we do get a new NiGHTS or JSR, I'm gonna have the time of my life!
I hope that this game brings back all the songs from Ver. 2000 and Wii including the song packs.

Sega isn't lying when they said they were going to revive their old IP's.
They began this with Valkyria Chronicles 4 in 2018, and Sakura Wars in 2019.
Where are the Rio de Janeiro graphics and cinematics
I loved how they made a whole Brazilian vibe game
It's confirmed: there is no ,,Samba De Janeiro'' in this game (from GameXplain review).
This was by far the biggest shock to me. The only other thing that came close was seeing that we're finally getting Golden Sun on Switch Online, but man is this exciting. (There are others announced that I'm more excited for, but those ones we've already known about)
