It could be either, depending on how your want to 'voice' the chord. Thanks for watching. Tom --------------------- Like my videos? Please support my channel by becoming a member or for more benefits join: www.Patreon.com/keyboardskillspro - bonus content, lesson PDFs and more!
It’s the opening of the 1st movement of Mozart’s Piano Sonata in C (K545) Best wishes Tom ---- Like my videos? Please support my channel: www.Patreon.com/keyboardskillspro
No. The first note stands alone. The "top-middle-top" 535 count towards the next beat, which ends the Alberti: 5351. Count towards the beat ( ta-ta-ta-2], ta-ta-ta-3]----not from the beat 2tatata], 3tatata], as printed ). The limitations of 18th century musical typography are still with us and mislead beginners as well as teachers of beginners to count from the beat which deadens Baroque and classical music . Articulating " towards the beat " makes the music come alive. Leonard Bernstein makes comments to that effect by counting and 2], and 3], and 4], and 1]. Stopping on the first beat---not starting on it. There are exceptions of course, but It generally makes more sense, more musical, aural, singing sense to end phrases on the first beat . Cheers, from Ottawa, Canada.

what are the right hands notes on this lil piece? thx in advance
Thanks for commenting - can you give me the time marker please?
@@KeyboardSkillsPro Hello the whole right hand seem to do a few notes only midway thru the video.
Thanks a lot. Doesn't the bottom note of the left hand travel to a d though, not b?
It could be either, depending on how your want to 'voice' the chord.
Thanks for watching.
