Same! I think they expensive on that site bc she uses vintage bandanas but it still seems a little ridiculoys for a dress that doesn't require much skill to make

@@realmsunreal As someone who owns a dress from the original artist, I can say that yes, it is a simple concept. However, these are handmade in the USA by actual humans and finished impeccably. The pockets are amazing, and the dress can be worn both ways with no front or back. Payong the original artist was well worth it for the incredible quality of work.

I was thinking about shortening the bandana for the bodice portion and then adding an elastic on that seam so it cinches at the natural waist. Do you think that’d work with bandanas?

Oh my gosh, THANK YOU! I wanted to buy one of these dresses but the price point had me shocked. I just ordered some bandanas and thought “hm maybe I’ll google how to do it so I don’t have to wing it.” And there was your video! Yay!
Your drawings cracked me up but this was more than I could’ve asked for! The exact dress in tutorial form
    Thank you!

Wow can I just say thank you a thousand times?!! I’ve seen so many similar shirts and dresses with this cool square looking detail on the sleeve/bust area from the sleeve and i could not for the life of me figure out how to make it! This gives me a great starting place. Thank you!!!

Any chance you would sell these dresses? I love them so much but I’m afraid I’ll mess it up!

Buying from the original artist would be the best way to have someone make it for you. They have a small team of women working in the USA, so your purchases are supporting people.

Thanks goodness for this video! I’m going out to get the supplies now. I’m thinking of adding some pockets and a tie at the waist as well :)
