That sarcophagus is truly extraordinary. I love it, you really get a sense of human connection with the people it was made to commemorate . Other sarcophagi or grave monuments are often, although impressive, quite intimidating. 😰 Greetings from Sweden!

@@AncientRomeLive One thing I was wondering: where were most of these objects found given that Etruscan settlements and dwelling were flattened? Buried along with the dead? Is the visitor informed here as to the origin of the objects, and how they were found? From what I know remnants of Etruscan civilisation are very few and far between. Them, and the Carthaginians..

This is a wonderful idea. And Thank you. But the sound quality is terrible. Can I ask that you give him a bluetooth mic, and you add subtitles rather than translating. I would prefer to hear the Italian. But great , thanks.

Thank you- it was a bit impromptu- but well worth to preserve this moment- we have many opportunities to go back!

@@AncientRomeLive Yes it's definitively a great snapshot of what that museum has to offer even if it feels like we're getting a 5 min before close time runaround. Also it looks like a smartphone video but you know i like the impromptu nature of it, it feels genuine and fresh without sickening video editing. I like it !

Darius understands Italian, but is he reluctant to speak it on camera as he's not totally fluent? He is American.

Gosh you need to buy a gimbal for your camera to stabilize shakes, this is a minimum for a serious youtuber.
