My favorite stitch! I love to tell a story with the colors. One stripe of brown to represent the soil; stripe dark green is the grass; next stripe a lighter green for the stem; next stripe a color for the flower. Made for a dear friend to keep blooming every day as she battled cancer. ❤
Crystal that is a middle finger and I am HERE FOR IT. I've been trying to find a good use for copious amounts of scrap yarn from holiday gifts I've made this year, and this is it. An EFF OFF WORLD scrap throw. Thank you for all that you do! You're such a great teacher 😊❤️❤️
I LOVE this!! I was just asked if it were at all possible for me to make a Christmas baby blanket. I agreed because it is for a dear friend's rainbow grandbaby. How could I not? First baby for both families after losing the first two I'm making it in red, green and white. I think I'm going to give a simple sc border in white yarn bee fur the moment. It's going to be spectacular! Thank you Crystal.

Thank you for this! My grandma had made a blanket for my mom in this stitch and it was always my favorite. I haven't seen it in several years, but I remember it well. I know it had a deep red, cream, gray and black. I think she even had another one now that I think about it... it had kind of peach and cream and tan and maybe an orangey color. My grandma didn't have much, so the hand made gifts were extra special. I have plenty and have a lot to give, but am much happier giving things I've made. I hope they will mean as much to my kids and grandkids as these things meant to my mom and me.

Hi Crystal I am making a shawl right now using a number of your different crochet techniques all together in one shawl and this one from this video is really beautiful and I’m glad I found it to add it to my Schaal it is adding a beautiful technique and added Spirit to what I am making I will send you pictures when I am done of all of the different techniques I have picked up from your different videos. I try to crochet and I Saori type style because I don’t know how to read patterns and I get lost following along So it is easier for me to just do a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Crystal I have never asked you or have seen other than the umbrella have I seen any back snitching in your work there are in your flowers and xmas trees. Some of your work I believe in my opponion look kicking in back snitch with your style. Yes its more yarn But damn your yarn art it very amazing for you giving freely. God I wish I could crochet again, now that I have found your vids. No I learn to hate crocheting. It became something I had to do to deal with humans, and even than it was questionalable. So Yes I do come off weird no matter How hard I try to be some what close to normal. You do such a great job I do try to reach out to you. Even if I can only crochet broaders now with my looming. Which for me comes out pretty nice lines going one way than crochet the other way. Im fighting to teach myself decrease on a loom. I was so bad at crochet I have made so many deformed blankets to merman blankets Yes those blanket had tails. Than there are others I crocheted snitched short tails. till I started to teaching myself how to do broaders By the ways Crystal your vids hadn't come out yet than. Or crocheted my broaders would be cleaner. Im not going for great in crocheting or looming. I just want not deeply sucky. Im feelin I suck at both crochet and looming

I love the larksfoot stitch, Crystal! I've done one similar to it before but can't remember the nameof it right now. I mostly make blankets and this is oh so perfect for one. Hmmmm... I'm wondering if I can adjust some of the multi color cakes I have to work this pattern...
I think this would also work for a really pretty cardigan. After watching one of your cardigan tutorials, I've come up with a cardigan pattern that I'm enamored with and have been making them out of different stitches that you've shown us. I've already used the moss stitch on one and I'm now using the ocean waves on one for my Mom's Christmas present.

Thank you thank you thank you for this tutorial! I don’t know if you received my stitch tutorial request or if we’re thinking alike but I’m so happy you did this one. It’s not exactly like the afghan I made all those years ago but it jogged my memory enough to remember how it’s made I think. I’m going to make a swatch before starting the blanket to make sure I’m remembering correctly. If it’s not then I’m going to use this pattern since I might be remembering wrong lol.
