This Trail Was Steeper Than I Remembered | Troy Lee Trail Corona Ca

- So after 2 years I decided to make it back out to Troy Lee Trail otherwise known as Skyline Trail in Corona Ca. This trail was definitely steeper than I remembered and a lot of fun. If you haven't ridden here already I would definitely recommend making the drive and grueling climb because its worth the descent. See you guys on the next one! #MTBFLOW #GETOUTANDRIDE #TROYLEETRAIL#SKYLINETRAIL
I'm watching this video as I sit with a busted knee, because a hiker took the preferred line choice. And it was around that same area where you said you fell 😅
Gotta set ur limits
This is my home trail. I just started MTB a couple months ago and have ridden it I think 5-6 times(twice from Doppler/beeks). I’ve since gone to a bike park and watched other trails on youtube and realized just how sketchy, dusty, and steep this is. What a trail to start out on 😂
Oh man I can't imagine starting out on those trails! 😂
@@MTBFLOW update - I have an ebike now and ride this all the time (so much more fun when you dont have to climb it all before hand!)
This used to be my home trail. I gauge all the trails I ride now in Idaho on this trail. Nothing is as steep and gnarly as this trail. I miss it greatly. Even have the topo map of it tatted on my arm. glad to see it's still holding up!
This is a crazy technical trail you made it look easy.👌
Thanks man! 🤘🏼
Absolutely sick ride bro!
The infamous tree at the end. 🤣🤣🤣
Oh it’s a thing? Thought it was just me 😂
@@MTBFLOW I've wrapped two different bikes around it and had two other buddies catch it pretty hard too. It'd be sad if some how that tree went missing...
That trail is STEEP. That was one of the first trails I attempted when I was beginning MTBing lol Ended up coming down the Fireroad
Haha oh man I bet that was a gnarly experience 😂👌🏼
Man I gotta get back up there!
Let's go!!! My home trail!
Yeah I would definitely make it back out more often if it wasn’t for that climb 🥴😂
@@MTBFLOW yeah haha! The first time we did it was the middle of the summer 🥵 my bike park legs aren’t ready!
@@lifeofrileymtb4408 heck yeah! I just need my foot to not be broken first 😬
This trail gets sketchier as the years go by for sure. Nice ride.
Haha thought those ruts looked a bit deeper 🤔😂
Heading there tomorrow I just hope I survive. Epic video man always awesome to watch your vids!!!Send it bro!
Cool edit. maeda looking fresh still 😎🤙
Thanks man! And yeah he ríps! 🤘🏼
Nice vidéo 👍😉
Thanks!
Sick man! I miss living in California...
Thanks man! 🤙🏼
I haven’t ridden w the TLD crew since the 90’s when I worked for the company, and that was a single track that started and ended near Prado Dam.. is that the same trail in this vid?
Oh shit, almost hit that tree dude
Yooo, rad to see you ripping Troy Lee. I love that trail... you need my-man Thai from Velofix-Corona to give you a tune-up. He's a legit ripper and will get ya bike straightened out right quick. If you ever want a random challenge in that same area we've got a couple sick trails next-door in Norco. Look up Wyle Rocket Experiment. Climb sucks, but it keeps kooks out :D. Thanks for posting the vid and all the hard work on the channel!
Haha thanks man! Thai is the man he’s got my rigs dialed multiple times! That’d be dope I’ll have to look it up! I might be one of those kooks that it keeps out though 😂🤘🏼
Nice!!! How is that specialized enduro? It looks monster down hill. How is the climbing for being an enduro?? I have always been curious. Thanks for the awesome vids also 🤘😎
Thanks man! It definitely is a monster on the down hill and honestly the climbing is not bad at all!
Hey man I have the same creaking noise where did you locate yours?
Are you on a Specialized Enduro now?
I am! 🤘🏼
@@MTBFLOW dude I notice that the chain comes off one enduro on the lower gears too! What gear are you on when yours comes loose? Wonder if it's an enduro thing??? 🤔 but I still love my bike though ha!
@@syguy600rr yeah it tends to come off at the highest gear.
does the mtb fiend guy still ride?
