Rady Children’s Hospital secretly surveilled teen and her parents in failed attempt to prove abuse

Rady Children’s Hospital secretly surveilled a bedridden teenager and her parents using at least one hidden camera in a hospital room and it was done without a warrant, according to a lawsuit filed by the family. When I saw her long fingers, I guessed either Marfan's or Ehlers-Danlos. CRPS does accompany EDS sometimes. How sad that I, a layman, could instantly diagnose her with a connective tissue disorder, and a children's hospital missed it completely.

I was curious if she ever got concrete answers... turns out she did. She had "hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and dysautonomia, (a nervous system disorder)"

I'm so sorry for this family 😢. But I hope that Rady's will stand corrected through these lawsuits. I personally know that Rady's staff is completely incompetent in being able to properly detect child abuse! They have gotten it wrong many times, and have hurt the trust of their young patients and their families too often in times of urgent care needs.
