I bought my Darksaber from Artsabers just before the v2 came out. My blade worked it's way loose durimg some spinning, happens all the time. But this time, the retention screws caught the base of the blade and degolved the outter sleeve. I reached out to Artsabers, and they sent me a replacement free of charge. Their customer service really is awesome. This unique situation has blessed me with an awesome combination of the v1 hilt and the v2 blade. The best of both worlds for me. One thing to note. The v2 is only available in 32" blade lengths. I'm not sure if this only applies to Artsabers or if all xenopixel manufacturers are going that way. It doesn't really bother me, because the Darksaber was often shown during Clone Wars to be slightly shorter than the standard lightsaber blade. Also I find the 32" blade to have less wobble than my original 36" blade.

@FindingTheForce It could be the lighting, but the Dark Saber seems to have lighter colored accents in the first. I went back and paused the video several times for both of them several times, but that is what I came up with.
Great video as always I’m digging the v2 more than the v1 just because of the blade although it little more wiggle doesn’t make it a bad saber I think the heaviness of the v2 makes it feel like your holding the dark saber
I have the V2 hilt and it’s much better, not sure which version blade I have as t seems to be more like V1.5. My blade doesn’t seem to wobble when I only use one retention screw also
Just picked up the v2 Darksaber and it’s awesome! Which font file did you use with your V1 that had the red clash effects? It looks like the Kyberphonics one had white clash effects.
Dahm the V2 looks way better it just overall looks better as the silver for the darksaber just doesn't really suit it and i personally like a heavier hilt (even though I only have one saber but still 🤣)
I really like the look of the V2. The blade looks a whole lot better, not showing all the LEDs in the blade. They say the blade can be purchased separately, but may not work with other Saber Smiths versions. I may try that out with mine. I'm not going to be able to buy one this year though. UW is doing new releases of some of their older hilts with updates and well, I'm a devotee. I'm saving up for a couple of those. Keep up the good work though. You've gotten me to get hilts from Vaders Sabers, so, we'll see.
Hey ODK! So, curious about the CC Sabers V2. I have the v1 in proffie from Artsabers, and I just got Vader Sabers v2 Xenov3, is CC's v2 the same as Vaders except this new upgraded blade? Which CC's actually sells as a separate item too - which is soooo cool!
OK, not gonna lie, got a little confused there. Lol but I am super pumped about the more realistic blade and very happy that CC sells it solo. Thanks, as always for the comment!
@FindingTheForce LOL didn't mean to confuse you! Buuuut, I have the answer... because I said F it and bought the CC sabers v2! 🤣 The Vaders Sabers is much heavier and "thicker" than CC & Artsabers. Also, the blade on VS is a rectangle type, where CC & AS have that triangular part for the connection. Anyways, I'm really glad I got the CC sabers too! I like the slimmer looks and feel!

I really wish Kyberphonic would upload my favorite quote of Mando "I can bring you in warm or I can bring you in cold." I super surprised that he hasn't as of yet. You mentioned SN Pixel and I'm not sure if you know that SN Pixel can also Bluetooth to an App that does everything the Xeno V3 App does, and even lets you do custom flicker, hum, timing, etc... Things the Xeno App doesn't have yet. I have a 2 button SN Pixel Graflex and it's one of my favorites. The app for it is Force Park. 👍

The v1 seems more accurate to the first picture, and the v2 seems more accurate in the picture where Mando is handing it to Bo.

Hey bud, I have been back-and-forth about the weight for a long time, and I decided that it feels the best when it matches the weight of the blade. 👍🏻

I personally do not care for the blade on the v2 because near the top there is a lot of white space that makes it look weird
