First was an original song, "I Miss You", composed by Igor Krutoy for Dimash, second was "Your Love" another Igor composition for Dimash's voice, then immediately after he sang "Your Love", he sang "Stranger". Then a day or two later, Dimash sang "Fly Away" a new song from a Kazakh composer. Then at the ending ceremonies concert, Dimash sang a new composition from Igor, again composed for Dimash, "Ave Maria", a stunning vocalise. To get a feel for the large spread of genres of music Dimash performed, you might watch each of these performances at the New Wave 2021 competition. Three are on Dimash's UA-cam channel, "Stranger", "Fly Away" and "Ave Maria". The other two are only available on fancams by the Dears who were there.

I grew up with Hello by Lionel Richie. I loved this song. But to be honest, I like Dimash’s version much better. Sorry Lionel. The melismas give me goosebumps without end. There is no proof that Lionel did that. I searched for months. If you have any proof, please post it here. I was told by an employee of The Singer that Lionel’s record company contacted The Singer’s producers threatening lawsuits since they hadn’t asked for permission to use the song.

The Teddy Swim song he did was (almost) perfect English while the 2 own English songs just before that had many more wrong pronunciations. The only logic conclusion is that with covers he can listen to the original. And basically this is how all artists cover a song in a language they do not understand.

He is a god and can not do anything wrong and for sure no critics allowed. Like a few weeks ago the internet was too small when Pegasus showed he was just lipsyncing.
