Watching this game several months later vs when I watched it at the time. I was really heated about the # of shot attempts Notae put up but on rewatch man you really see the impact he had keeping Zags defense on their toes. He was so active and everywhere and even though he shot less than 30% I really appreciate the game he had.
He makes me shake my head in disappointment and also in amazement. 9/30 is rough and that foul he committed on the 3 at the end. Like come on man. But hey we won.
Coach Musselman has the Razorbacks on top of the college basketball world.. they'll be the hottest team for the next five to six years maybe the next decade.
because they can schedule all the non-conference big games all they want(Texas, UCLA, Duke, Texas Tech, Alabama) but they will never have a full conference schedule where they are tested. Even this season, St. Mary's mucked up the game and beat them. Its gonna be the same blueprint every year to beat them which is to have a physical, athletic team.
Believe it or not, there was a time in the 80s when people said the same thing about Duke. People also used to say the same thing about Kansas. Gonzaga's time will come.

It’s just small guard up to big guard. That being said, Holmgren seems way way too thin in a sea of people who are all thin, he really stands out. There was a rebound in this game where he got pulled to the ground by a guy who grabbed the rebound at the same time. At least he went to OKC. I think they have that other super skinny 7 foot guard, also. It’ll be a team of freaks.
He was lock-everybody up at the rim tho? Did u not notice how many guys didn’t shoot when they saw him? The difference of winning and losing the game was the bogus foul calls he was getting
