Absolutely amazing! It is November 2021and I am just coming across this! You have a fantastic talent. Your solo is phenomenal! I started playing at 7 and am now 58! I still play every day for 2-3 hours. I'm essentially self-taught as I am left-handed and when I started playing every instructor I had tried to make me play righty! Finally, after about a year, I stopped taking lessons and taught myself. Peart, Bonham, Carey, Grohl, Van Halen, Starr were some of the drummers I studied. You have. The potential to be right there with them, young lady! Don't stop banging those skins
I am also left handed, and I am interested in the drums. I was preforming a couple of year in a fanfare on the snare. So doubles and rhythm should not be a problem. But what is the differents between a right and a left handed drummer. I would like to know, because I am new, why just not start learning it right handed, so that i can drum every normal setup?
Great Concentration on your Dynamics. This is a great song for Memory and technique. You're on the right path, never listen to these dimwitz in the comment section. I've been playing since I was 14 and I'm 40 now. Drumming is definitely in your blood and you're a natural. Practice everyday if you can as much as you can. Always set a goal for accomplishment for each practice or series of practices. Make sure you're getting something new out of it and not just playing the same things endlessly that you already know. \m/

I love how calm you are while playing this complex song. Danny himself is very calm when he plays, even during pneuma, which is crazy! Lmao You killed it girl, keep making awesome music. God Bless.
To be fair Pneuma is really much easier to play than this song. While it does have some very strange time signatures and polyrhythmic patterns (16th triplets as double strokes over a 4/4 hi hat that evolves into some very specific tom patterns as straight 16th note double strokes) during that extended tom section, it is comparatively a much more relaxed song to play once you get all the parts down. 46 and 2 on the other hand just launches and doesn’t let up until it’s over. Very intense song to play and she did great!
@@dinkinflicka7953 Yep; Pneuma is tricky to initially figure out but is physically pretty easy to play, while I still find 46 & 2 will trip me up a bit.

Brooke you ARE AMAZING! Tool lover here and you nailed it! Can't stop Smiling and watching you slay it..and this is a few years old.. You must be totally awesome even more now 😊
yeah cause the kit keeps rhythm and timing for her right?. It is a very nice kit but I would say that's more of a result to how much she plays. if she had that kit but couldn't play a simple beat I would say what you said
I love that you have the kit set up the "right" way, and by that I mean you walk up the stairs, turn left/right, through the curtain and immediately to the drum stool. I've seen drummers set the kit up "backwards" with their backs to the window, so they have to climb over the kit... I never understood that. Even in basements, kit is facing the door, even though it's not where they practice with their band. I was a bassist, 300w peavey amp with "this side towards enemy" (like a mortar) so I didn't face it towards the back of the room :P ( I also played bass because it had four strings and I only had four fingers... like I said, I was a bassist )
I've been a drummer since I was 10 and Def Leppard came into existence, the fact anyone can play this like it is second nature still blows my mind , this is one of the better versions of the song by far.... I cant play this but I can play megadeth and slayer..
I have to say "wow"! Again. That is impressive. That's both hands and feet non stop. You'd make a great helicopter pilot, it requires those same exact skills.

Was out on my daily walk. This song come on, all I could was think of this video & you awesome drumming.
This is beautiful. I'm speechless!
Straight skill. Nice kit, beautiful.
Tool are not remotely an easy band to do drum covers of. Must have taken a lot of frustrating practice. To be doing this at 13 is fucking incredible.
If she's 13 then I'm 14. She looks much more mature than that
hahah they don't build em like they used it! 13 will get you 20...
BigE1293 What the fuck
wait she's 13? that's fuckin crazy.
IndustrialBonecraft agreed!! Tool in general is one of the tougher bands to cover
Fantastic. natural talent showing what time well spent can achieve. Well done Brooke!
Sick! Ignore people making rude comments. You showcase your talent with class. Very clutch.
TOOL HAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE DRUMMERS ..AND YOU PLAYED IT AWESOME!!!!!!ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!!
Brooke you ARE AMAZING! Tool lover here and you nailed it! Can't stop Smiling and watching you slay it..and this is a few years old.. You must be totally awesome even more now 😊
So glad there are teenagers that listen to real music. All my kids listen to is that pop crap
I'm so glad my mom had Tool in my ears from day one. Maynard is just... wow. I love all his projects.
paulv1973 shut the fuck up old bitch
i must agree thusly with good old paulv oh and why dont you shut it where you shit ink wink
ink ink Yo, if you're here for the music, be courteous. If you're not, fuck off with that rude shit.
+ink ink You sound like a piece of shit. Fuck off.
Great band, song choice and drumming. Well done, wish I had as much rythm and coordination : )
jealous of the kit
Seeing that kit explained why this was in my recommended videos...rich parents.
talent is talent
corey good-dry you can buy talent these days
dont be dumb
yeah cause the kit keeps rhythm and timing for her right?.
I was a bassist, 300w peavey amp with "this side towards enemy" (like a mortar) so I didn't face it towards the back of the room :P ( I also played bass because it had four strings and I only had four fingers... like I said, I was a bassist )
your on point girl,,nailed it..keep it up...
Dont listen to the haters. You have it. Maynard and Danny would be proud.
Well done. You can't post anything online without getting criticized by people who don't do anything themselves.
Excellent playing! Nailed those triplets and fills, yet do it so fluidly. Keep on pounding away! Long live metal drumming!
You did a phenomenal job on this!!! ❤️
Wow!! Absolutely stellar. Keep crushin' it young lady. Bravo!
awesome
Thanks!!:)
Speechless 😶 just LOVE SEEING YOUNG PEOPLE LOVE ROCK N ROLL. PERFECT 😀🥁🎼
That gave me chills. Wow!! I'm giving you a standing "o" Awesome !!!
