  • This is my backpacking menu for the next several hiking trips. I've dehydrated and sealed several staples including rice, refried beans, ground beef, noodle mixes, potato soup, chili flavoring and ramen noodles. Each package is portioned to one serving. All you need to do is mix them in a pan, add water, boil and let sit in your pot cozy for about 10 minutes.
