What people don't understand is, it's a different world than your country of origin. When you're living in countries like Canada and USA...the money you make is what you have..There's no conversion rates..You have to be very careful on how you manage your money. The truth is people abroad are 1 paycheck or 2 from financial ruin..also know the environments that you're in and pay attention to the individuals you interact with...they can elevate you or bring you down..Mind your business and stay focus on your goals.
I disagree with the financial ruin part. That is generalizing. There are many people in Canada/USA that are doing very well for themselves in savings, investments etc.
@bby7115 You can disagree all you want. It doesn't change the facts of what I stated. What's the issue is, when a person speaks about the hardships that people are facing in those countries. Others think you don't want them to travel or better themselves. Then, when they relocate and face the hard realities of living abroad, they're shocked. If you're making your money legally, you're going to feel the impact of the economy you live in..Now if a person comes abroad and they are scammers, they'll just move from scam to scam..to make their money until they get catch..
And that’s the truth. I see myself as an expat or tourist no matter the country I go to. I cannot come to a country with my hard earned money and then be feeling like a… I feel great. Powerful. Positive. Love. This is not everyone’s experience but I know that I have experienced more prejudice in a Nigeria than in any other country. As a nigerian with Nigerian passport straight from the airport they will start their wahala. But all is well jaré. We love.

The truth is hard to swallow for some. Personally I spend less than $50 on groceries and save for winter Clothes because it's super expensive, one winter jacket is for $150 and you need shoes and cloves too... so be careful how you spend... thanks again for sharing ASY.😊
