I'm 70 years old and discovered BTS about a year ago. I love this channel. I'm all in to help meet the 1B goal for the Dynamite video. The kids in my family are going to think I'm crazy, but I'll see if I can get them involved as well. You guys are such loyal fans. BTS are so lucky to have you.
Winter ahead has a lot of potential any edit that evokes nostalgia could work, old tv shows series. But the specific idea that came to mind are the lyrics : "Lie with me by the fire We can be safe from the storms up high" For scenes where characters from series, dramas, etc. are safe "There's a winter ahead, if it's cold and wet" Insert suble foreshadowing of the plot the worst moment, the saddest or most heartbreaking. "We're always warm here side by side" And add again the character who is unaware of what would happen.
The idea for using BTS songs for edits of trending shows is actually so great! But we have to stop 'gatekeeping' BTS and thank the creator who uses the song in their reels/short... or write comments like, 'she/he summoned the whole fandom' 'OMG you listen to BTS?' Etc. Remember BTS is a global group and a mainstream act (16th most streamed in the world of all time) and not just a kpop group💜 Edit: I was listening to Winter Ahead and I think inspiration could be taken from the music video itself, like the last scene where Taehyung faces himself, someone can make an edit of an emotional scene like this from a movie or series with the last bit of Paradise lyrics playing... The lyric 'don't you wanna say you'll stay?' can also be used for edits of a lot of series...
I mean just yesterday bts joined taylor swift as the only 2 musical acts to have 7 albums with all tracks reacting 100M streams on spotify, that's bts' level, far beyond kpop

My idea would be to make genre focused playlists and make them public on spotify: Eg. -'Songs to do your homework with' or 'study playlist' and it will have songs from Layover, rpwp, WA, some songs from other artists you listen to, some ballad songs from other members. -'songs that hype you up' with Haegum, More, 3D, dynamite, daechwita, Arson etc. -'songs for hopeless romantics' with Who, Seven, friends, heart on the window and other songs -'songs to cry on' with spring day, butterfly, hate you... You get what I mean right... Like public playlists with general names for people to search and discover these songs...
Thanks for talking about goals and numbers. I know some people may not like this and may find it boring, but i think its fun and feels productive and feels like I'm contributing to bts at least a little. I enjoy listening to their music and keep little goals for myself, it feels good. So I encourage armys to see this in a positive light and keep these goals in mind and go hard for bts as we always have! 💜💪
Edit idea: ARCANE series with MORE, It has all the vibes punk, powerful, badas. And I think it would connect with the audience, which is very large. It could even connect with the characters' desire to do more and more even if it led them astray from their path.
Wildflower is more introspective. So we should use that song just based on vibes rather than focusing on the lyrics. I don't think people notice deep meaning behind songs on edits anyways. So the last part of Wildflower can be used on clips from dramas that are sad or introspective.

Also people always create their trend by themselves and those trends have nothing to do with those songs original meanings. Think about "Breaking Dishes" by Rihanna. This song is not about falling for a man but just because that word repeat at chorus people use it for their love for man. So we can create our trends if the vibe is okay for a trend. Because when people use one particular song for one trend that songs vibe changes completly. Idk if you guys saw those military edits with "Lay All Your Love On Me" from ABBA but since that day every time i listen this songs i remember those "top 10 strongest military" edits.
I think Who would go well with any drama's lead characters. We can use Who on any romantic drama. Clips of the lead characters can be compiled and used in a creative way.
I think big anime's are always a good idea, I just recently saw an edit gaining traction using House of Cards instrumentals with an anime edit (I don't know what anime unfortunately I don't know many current big anime, I only know Demon Slayer lol). And don't forget that instrumentals are always an option.
@mariaestrellasolismogica995 Not necessarily. If the instrumental version matches the purpose of the edit better, then why not use the instrumentals. Similarly to how people on TikTok tend to like sped up & slowed down versions of songs. The song/ artist gets traction regardless, even if it's just one particular song.
My only concern about this playlist is how the solos are spread out. Most people are not going to play the full list. Here is how they are on the list No. 5 and 8 (Jimin) ; No. 20 (JHope); No. 22 (Suga), No. 29 Jin; No 32 V, No. 36 JK, No. 42 RM. This is just the list showing the first songs for each member. The next song after RM, No. 43 is Jimin. I love all seven guys, I just want it spread out more fair where all of them have a better chance of their song being played.
Winter ahead can be used on the bride's preparation for the wedding (the make up moment, taking the bouquet, taking photographs, showing her ring, the invitation, at a flashback of the important moments of the couple, etc.) edits. I also can see Haugeum in jail shows (sorry, i don't know if that's a propper name) like OITB or a movie with penintetiary scenes. Maybe More with trainning or with your exercise rutine...and Running Wild if your exercise es running. Running wild can be use for roadtrips (yours or road movies). What do you think?
WHO, 3D, Running Wild have also many official remixes/versions which give of a different vibe. Accoustic WHO and rock WHO can be used for different kinds of edits. One for romantic/sweet/sad movies/TV series, the other for action movies/dark romance/ villain thirst.

About edits: i think first you need to identify the most catchy part of the song for casual listeners. I think LOST! is rather difficult to make edits with, cause the instrumentality during the main part of the song sounds very busy almost caotic/complicated (which fits perfect with the songs message, but is hard to make edits with). But i would use the intro with the female voice for romantic edits and write out the lyrics along with the edit. Lyrics: Love How you get in love like, oh? How you get love? I also think the classic romance movies go well with who or winter ahead like the notebook or any other flim, like it doesn't always have to be a clip of the movie or series, it can just be a collection of pictures with a cool edit since we already know the movie/series. And on recent k-dramas too like when your phone rings, lovely runner, squid game or the new drama with Jin's ost.

It was a commentary on how even bad press is good press - and how we should learn to turn the haters' efforts to our advantage. They create bad press, so we capitalize on their efforts to give us energy to unify. Breaking the record for Dynamite is an important goal, but while we do that, please consider adding the following MVs into your streaming playlists: RM - Around The World In A Day - 1.6 million (not even 2 million! Please help!) This one can't easily be streamed because it has a warning label, and of course the video can be triggering so it's not for everyone, but if you like that song maybe give the MV some more views too. Please think about if you were an artist releasing new work that you poured your heart and soul into, but your fans mostly only streamed songs from several years ago, and your new music wasn't getting as much attention... wouldn't that be really frustrating? I do think breaking these big records is important so let's push for it! But in my opinion our other biggest priority should be recent releases with much smaller views. Remember when people used "let me have a taste" from Like Crazy for food videos? I think for Haegum the string Instrumental intro and that "yeah, okay okay, YEAH YEAH YEAH" would be great audio for an edit.

And trending dating shows like Singles Inferno! you can use Jessica Alba, Selena Gomez, the cute couple from Another Cinderella Story, Channing Tatum in Step Up, Moose in Step Up. those movies aren't new or trending but i often see iconic movie characters in a random edit which can end up sparking a whole wave of edits for more trending or nostalgic shows/characters that don’t go out of style. Also the bridge "who .. is .. my .. heart" can be used for love triangles, not just bc of the lyrics but the beat. edit on the beat. ex: Singles Inferno 4 is starting & there is always love triangles. OR xo, kitty bc the main character & other characters have so many love triangles. also a fan favorite is Song Jia from the 1st season so she brings a lot of nostalgia. i'm seeing Singles Inferno tiktoks lately & i don't even like the vids on my BTS account so it's def trending. Then there's other dating shows like Love Island, etc. I suggest to do edits for fan faves (Song Jia, Dex, etc). tip: if you search on youtube, you can find ‘clips to edit for x’ so just search up the show, celeb, character, etc., look for clips & pick the vibe of the song. the creator may ask for credit, so see if that’s said in the description. you don’t need to watch a whole series/movie to do this if you can find clip compilations on youtube. i remember Boy in Luv x Bada Lee from Street Woman Fighter edits & while some associated the song with her in tiktok edits, people made lip syncing tiktoks to the song, etc. so all of this is possible. 3D can be used for these dance shows. another season of the show is coming soon!

Boracity! My friends and I have been debating this, and I would love your opinion. We are trying to put together our dream comeback tour setlist - obviously using only their currently released music. Our rule is 14 OT7 songs (11 regular + 3 encores) + one medley with max 5 songs, 1 solo song each, and 1 rap line / vocal line song each. It's like impossible, but a fun thought exercise that has kept me entertained for hours lol. I really enjoy your livestreams. I have another idea, since we're doing 1 comment per idea. This one pertains to sharing edits and creating a some kind of verbiage guideline for the edits so we can search and find edits easily. It is evident that there are lots of Army globally, but maybe some Army aren't comfortable creating edits; however, everyone can still participate by interacting with Army edits that pertain to the 1 Billion Club Project. We still have to be subtle with our comments, hashtags / tags but sharing edits will help out the algorithm and possibly start a "bandwagon effect".

But I enjoy making edits. So take my suggestions with a grain of salt, but I have a few ideas so will share them here. These are a bit of the out of box suggestions for upcoming movies Suggestion no. 1 - V's Winter Ahead x The Brutalist I think it was released today. It is a brutal movie. It's a historical drama about an Jewish Hungarian architect of the 'Brutalist' style fleeing Europe after the second World War and coming as an immigrant to the US. It's not a feel good movie and is very very heavy. Not mainstream. Highly critically acclaimed and likely a frontrunner for the Oscars. Has a minor controversy because they used AI to refine the actors' (Adrian Brody, Felicity Jones) Hungarian accents. Again, it is a brutal movie and is rated R. But I just wanted to mention it in case it could be of interest because I think it would work with the melancholy and comfort of Winter Ahead. Suggestion no. 2 - V's Winter Ahead x Companion Releasing at the end of the month. Also R rated but not as serious. Dark comedy thriller. I think it is about a robot girlfriend that finds out she's not human and resents the "boyfriend". Winter Ahead is great for romances, but I think it could work for this in an ironic way. Looks decent and is mainstream but we'll only see it's popularity after release. Suggestion no. 3 - Jin's Running Wild x Love Hurts (2025) Action Comedy. Looks like a fun light hearted movie. Releasing soon on 7th Feb. It's about a realtor (Ke Huy Quan) who used to be a hitman but his past comes pack when his former partner-in-crime (Ariana DeBose) tells him that his crime-lord brother (Daniel Wu) is hunting him. I think it could work specially for the action sequences. Suggestion no. 4 - Jimin's Who x Heart Eyes (2025) Upcoming rom-com slasher movie also releasing on 7th Feb. Co-workers working late on Valentine's Day mistaken for a couple by a serial-unaliver. I think this could work in a twisted but funny way. Suggestion no. 5 - Jin's Running Wild x The Legend of Ochi (also maybe RM's Wildflower) Fantasy Adventure. Helena Zengel, Finn Wolfhard, Emily Watson and Willem Dafoe. In a remote village a farm girl is raised to be scared of the creatures but she embarks on an adventure to reunite a baby ochi with its family when it gets left behind. Releasing Feb end. Suggestion no. 6 - j-hope's MORE x The Monkey Horror comedy. Based on a Stephen King short story about a monkey toy that goes around unaliving people. I think More would fit it's gruesome absurdity. Release date 21 Feb.
I think Running Wild, More, Another Level, Run, Daechwita ("I'm a King, I'm a boss...) all would be great with sports highlights. And especially songs like More and Running Wild would work for American Football. And that is a new audience...

I think big anime's are always a good idea, I just recently saw an edit gaining traction using House of Cards instrumentals with an anime edit (I don't know what anime unfortunately I don't know many current big anime, I only know Demon Slayer lol). And don't forget that instrumentals are always an option.

Similarly to how people on TikTok tend to like sped up & slowed down versions of songs. The song/ artist gets traction regardless, even if it's just one particular song.

My only concern about this playlist is how the solos are spread out. Most people are not going to play the full list.

WHO, 3D, Running Wild have also many official remixes/versions which give of a different vibe. Accoustic WHO and rock WHO can be used for different kinds of edits. One for romantic/sweet/sad movies/TV series, the other for action movies/dark romance/ villain thirst.

About edits: i think first you need to identify the most catchy part of the song for casual listeners. I think LOST! is rather difficult to make edits with, cause the instrumentality during the main part of the song sounds very busy almost caotic/complicated (which fits perfect with the songs message, but is hard to make edits with). But i would use the intro with the female voice for romantic edits and write out the lyrics along with the edit.

Think about the most memorable or catchy party of each song that's either Instrumental or has a prominent English lyric. Remember when people used "let me have a taste" from Like Crazy for food videos? I think for Haegum the string Instrumental intro and that "yeah, okay okay, YEAH YEAH YEAH" would be great audio for an edit.

those movies aren't new or trending but i often see iconic movie characters in a random edit which can end up sparking a whole wave of edits for more trending or nostalgic shows/characters that don’t go out of style.
Also the bridge "who .. is .. my .. heart" can be used for love triangles, not just bc of the lyrics but the beat. edit on the beat. ex: Singles Inferno 4 is starting & there is always love triangles. OR xo, kitty bc the main character & other characters have so many love triangles.
also a fan favorite is Song Jia from the 1st season so she brings a lot of nostalgia. i'm seeing Singles Inferno tiktoks lately & i don't even like the vids on my BTS account so it's def trending. Then there's other dating shows like Love Island, etc. I suggest to do edits for fan faves (Song Jia, Dex, etc).
tip: if you search on youtube, you can find ‘clips to edit for x’ so just search up the show, celeb, character, etc., look for clips & pick the vibe of the song. the creator may ask for credit, so see if that’s said in the description. you don’t need to watch a whole series/movie to do this if you can find clip compilations on youtube.
i remember Boy in Luv x Bada Lee from Street Woman Fighter edits & while some associated the song with her in tiktok edits, people made lip syncing tiktoks to the song, etc. so all of this is possible. 3D can be used for these dance shows. another season of the show is coming soon!

Boracity! My friends and I have been debating this, and I would love your opinion. We are trying to put together our dream comeback tour setlist - obviously using only their currently released music. Our rule is 14 OT7 songs (11 regular + 3 encores) + one medley with max 5 songs, 1 solo song each, and 1 rap line / vocal line song each. It's like impossible, but a fun thought exercise that has kept me entertained for hours lol. I really enjoy your livestreams. I have another idea, since we're doing 1 comment per idea. This one pertains to sharing edits and creating a some kind of verbiage guideline for the edits so we can search and find edits easily. It is evident that there are lots of Army globally, but maybe some Army aren't comfortable creating edits; however, everyone can still participate by interacting with Army edits that pertain to the 1 Billion Club Project. We still have to be subtle with our comments, hashtags / tags but sharing edits will help out the algorithm and possibly start a "bandwagon effect".

I probably make the anti-trendy videos because I suck at being trendy lol. But I enjoy making edits. So take my suggestions with a grain of salt, but I have a few ideas so will share them here. I will provide relevant info about the movies as I suggest them to see if they can work. These are a bit of the out of box suggestions for upcoming movies
Suggestion no. 1 - V's Winter Ahead x The Brutalist
I think it was released today. It is a brutal movie. It's a historical drama about an Jewish Hungarian architect of the 'Brutalist' style fleeing Europe after the second World War and coming as an immigrant to the US. It's not a feel good movie and is very very heavy.
Not mainstream. Highly critically acclaimed and likely a frontrunner for the Oscars. Has a minor controversy because they used AI to refine the actors' (Adrian Brody, Felicity Jones) Hungarian accents.
Again, it is a brutal movie and is rated R. But I just wanted to mention it in case it could be of interest because I think it would work with the melancholy and comfort of Winter Ahead.
Suggestion no. 2 - V's Winter Ahead x Companion
Releasing at the end of the month. Also R rated but not as serious. Dark comedy thriller. I think it is about a robot girlfriend that finds out she's not human and resents the "boyfriend".
Winter Ahead is great for romances, but I think it could work for this in an ironic way. Looks decent and is mainstream but we'll only see it's popularity after release.
Suggestion no. 3 - Jin's Running Wild x Love Hurts (2025)
Action Comedy. Looks like a fun light hearted movie. Releasing soon on 7th Feb. It's about a realtor (Ke Huy Quan) who used to be a hitman but his past comes pack when his former partner-in-crime (Ariana DeBose) tells him that his crime-lord brother (Daniel Wu) is hunting him.
I think it could work specially for the action sequences.
Suggestion no. 4 - Jimin's Who x Heart Eyes (2025)
Upcoming rom-com slasher movie also releasing on 7th Feb. Co-workers working late on Valentine's Day mistaken for a couple by a serial-unaliver.
I think this could work in a twisted but funny way.
Suggestion no. 5 - Jin's Running Wild x The Legend of Ochi (also maybe RM's Wildflower)
Fantasy Adventure. Helena Zengel, Finn Wolfhard, Emily Watson and Willem Dafoe. In a remote village a farm girl is raised to be scared of the creatures but she embarks on an adventure to reunite a baby ochi with its family when it gets left behind. Releasing Feb end.

Horror comedy. Based on a Stephen King short story about a monkey toy that goes around unaliving people.
