    Excellent explanation, a question if you can help me I have an SZ but I am not doing well the cut in the croosfader, the song of the other deck is heard a little, because it can be this. Thanks if you can help.

    • @DjBlinkBlink
      @DjBlinkBlink  5 років тому +2

      Hello mate,
      If you are hearing the other song a little then when you have "closed" the crossfader fully, then the magvel fader needs to be realigned. You definitely have this problem and you have to open up your SZ as I did.
      Feel free to ask any questions below as always.
      Cheers,
      DJ Blink-Blink

      @@DjBlinkBlink thanks for answering but there is no option other than opening the sz, I mean in the configuration or reset the controller as it comes from the factory, thanks

      That's the solution mate. You have to open it up to solve this issue 👍🏾😎

    do you have a video how to fix the headphone jack? is it easy to open this up and reach it

    • @DjBlinkBlink
      @DjBlinkBlink  4 роки тому +1

      Unfortunately, I don't. Some good news through. You can open up the SZ easily (if you follow the steps in my video) and when you do, you would have access to the headphone jack.

    Hi, do you have a video showing the Sr2 crossfader changer?

    • @DjBlinkBlink
      @DjBlinkBlink  5 років тому +1

      Unfortunately, I don't. However the process should be similar. Remove all the knobs, the screws and then lift the cover to access the crossfader.

      @@DjBlinkBlink Thanks for the prompt reply and happy new year btw. I did remove the back cover however it seems that the crossfader is covered by the motherboard :-(

    • @DjBlinkBlink
      @DjBlinkBlink  5 років тому

      Happy new year to you too Brotherly. Is the crossfader covered by part or all of the motherboard? There may be a screw hidden around the motherboard that you could loosen to change crossfader.

    Can you access the headphone sockets when you remove the top panel of the DDJ SZ? Me headphone sockets are broken and I am planning to replace them by myself but I don’t want to waste time taking it apart if I can’t get to it.

    • @DjBlinkBlink
      @DjBlinkBlink  6 років тому +1

      Unfortunately, you cannot access the headphone sockets by just removing the top panel I took off in my video above. The headphone sockets are more to the left and it has another panel over it.

      DJ Blink-Blink thanks mate. Glad I didn’t mess up decks then. Would it mean I’d have to take the base off the unit then?

    • @DjBlinkBlink
      @DjBlinkBlink  6 років тому +1

      You welcome mate.
      As per your question, you are correct about taking the base off the unit cos you have to access the panel itself for the mixer.
      Are you good with soldering? Cos if you solder the new sockets wrongly or use a very hot settings , you could damage your panel for your mixer.

      DJ Shenks, That is the best solution mate. It should cost you between £50 and £100 maximum which would at least give you the assurance it is being done professionally. Glad I could help. Cheers mate 👍🏾

    The Magvel Fader is designed to bleed if you set the lag time to .3 or .5 ms. Its so you can crab scratch super fast by pushing it the reverse way towards the rubber edge. Weird but thats the design for extreme scratching.

    • @DjBlinkBlink
      @DjBlinkBlink  3 роки тому

      The fault I had was entirely different cos it was leaking badly no matter where you placed the fader 👍🏾😎

    Are you sure you didnt click "reverse crossfader" in Serato settings?
    Did you double-check?

    • @DjBlinkBlink
      @DjBlinkBlink  5 років тому +1

      I did not click on the "reverse crossfader". This problem I experienced (leaking of the crossfader) is a common issue on DJ controllers, so I knew what to do when it happened to me
