This was the perfect episode to come on... just ran into Dan in the bathroom at comedy works Denver earlier tonight while high on mushrooms trying to settle my stomach... looked up and there was Soder at the sink, he said hi, I gave him a crackle crackle... and then for the rest of the night I was trying to figure if that interaction actually happened or not... I read this, went back up to the video to see where I was at only to find that it was happening at that exact moment. Quite possibly the funniest coincidence I've ever been a part of.
The first 10 minutes of this hit me hard. Me and my buddy in Iraq were this way. I was way worse because I didn't know how to slow down. We would drink everyday for months and then he would deal with the DTs and hangover for a day and I would keep going, afraid of the shakes and the anxiety and the depression. The pain made me want to kill myself sometimes. The seizures and hallucinations were off the chart. I'm 1 year sober as of 01MAR2021 and feel great. No cravings. I wish I could drink responsibly. It is so much fun being drunk. It's the after that's killer. Literally have had alcohol poisoning more times than I care to admit, a few of those times where I should be dead.
Dan soder had 4 drinks instead of his usual 3 a few friday nights and labled himself an alcoholic to seem edgy and "dark" just like big fat lying bobby and pathetic spineless slug Jim Norton. Stop validating him with this horseshit and he also didn't grow up a neglected little trailer park kid either he grew up in sunny colorado with rich parents and connections to show business just like Mark Normand but that turns fans off so they make up "rags to riches" stories where the fantasy is they are self made and not given the golden ticket.

Was sober 20 years and went to Ireland for honeymoon. Made it out of 10 days fat, happy and sober.
