Love love love your garden! Your shared enthusiasm is a wonderful thing. I like to put as much in an area as I can too! I get a lot of "oh you can't do THAT" from people who space things out a lot. My philosophy is that my garden (I called it a Yarden since it's gardening in my yard.) is for me to design, to grown, to tend, and enjoy for me, not for other people.

I love that! I pinned your comment because this is how we feel too, and I love your term, Yarden!!! 😂🌿🌸 I feel like there is a lot to be learned from your comment for others who just like reading comments. Thank you for sharing❤️

The food channel, cooking channel, and most morning shows count on viewers wanting to watch people eat! Do what comes natural to you, you’re doing great and since your subs are growing as fast as your veggies, I’d say what you’re doing is a success!

Yes the aphids & black aphids has been ravishing my garden this year. Here in NY we had a very mild winter too. I’m also looking out for lanternfly. They start to appear this time also. Thankfully I hadn’t seen them yet.

I told myself I was going to watch this video and not order anything afterwards, 8 mins in and I already have radishes seeds to order, I do agree with Jason, the aphids seem a bit worse this year.

😂🤣 well at least it’s a good purchase that can keep you healthy! That’s what I always just tell myself to justify more seeds, especially when i’m still buying them in June😂🤣

I’m seeing aphids pretty heavy this year too but also tons of ladybugs! Everything is so vibrant in your garden & I just love it! We’ve been watering twice a day & things are still struggling, I’m about to cut the water off & just let it go. It has been so ridiculously hot here. I told my husband he has to get transferred so we can move because I can’t garden here anymore 😂

We actually got a little rain which was so relieving but then we got hit with bad air quality from the canada wildfires, so we couldn’t be outside for a couple days. It’s smelled like a bonfire

I'm new to your channel. Your garden is absolutely amazing. That spinach looks incredible. Would you mind telling me what variety that is? And yes, I do agree that aphids are out-of-control this year. In the past, I have only had to deal with them on a couple of pepper plants or okra. I swear this year they are everywhere. I'm constantly rinsing off my plants... especially tomatoes. I see some busy ladybugs, though.

    • @TheLawrenceGardenFarm

I would spray them early on in the season, keep an eye on them earlier. What I sometimes do is set an alarm in my phone to remember to check and spray them for next season. An alarm for a year from now. Just choose a date that sounds about the time they were just starting.

I cringed through a woman eating a tomato on video. All those slurpy, squishy, lip smacking sounds were captured by the mic right near her mouth. I didnt unsubscribe, but enough people commented that she now samples from her garden off camera. 😂
