In some of the drum tracks you can hear Dime 's amps in the background. They would be in the same room playing together. Dime and Vin were fucking machines.
@@rtomas47 Most of Lars' drumming has had to be pieced together. He has serious timing issues. Not to diss Lars or anything, his choice is to be more of a showman than musician. Vince took drumming a bit more serious, he worked to get the sound and he practiced to stay sharp. Lars has never shown himself to be a student of the craft. That's just my worthless opinion, though.
I love his fucking distinct kick sounds. Always sound like they were triggered on the records, but never were, at least I don’t believe during his time in Pantera. Edit: I believe this, arguable vs Becoming, showcase Vince drumming the fuck out of his mind at his very best.
This was all recorded on tape. No editing, no Pro Tools. People today can't comprehend this and think Pantera were nothing special. They were.

I mean, Lars Ulrich had to edit his drumming at that time.
Pantera were more than special, they were the best metal band in the world.

@@themechaniacal1558 correct. I think he is awesome producer and businessman, but not really great drummer.
His change ups and tempo are just beautiful and his fills are just insane I can never hear his drumming enough
Loving the splash.
Thank you Vinnie Paul for all the great things you brought to the world. RIP brother. Now getcha pull with brother Dime
