Without a doubt my most favorite Teea Goans song! What a tribute to Merle. Her rendition of this song AND the fact that she sings to best verse of the song that Merle DID NOT include in his recording (?!?) makes this one of the best "Teea's" I've ever heard...

Like Merle’s boy said, “Wow”! Very nice Ben & Teea. You both did Merle and Jimmy proud as my Daddy would say. I caught the two of you playing from home or a garage one night several months into the pandemic but this was even better. From an old fart to some talented kids, “Thanks for keeping it country”.

The music industry is controlled by producers, streaming sources and such and to some degree radio stations (although their influence is waning) - to all of these money is the end game. A lot of awesome talent, is deemed unmarketable and therefore unless we dig deep we don't discover it. Ed Sheeran, was a street musician whom somebody noticed and decided to put him front and center else we would never have heard the name Ed Sheeran. Listen to Rod Stewart and Amy Belle sing "I Don't Wanna Talk About It". Someone in Stewart's management team heard Amy singing on the street and she got an invite to sing that song with RS. Give it a listen she's.............well you decide!
