My fave ever is Dolce Amalfi! Smells like a rich, sweet clove ice-cream almost. I do wear it all year round. Funny you mention Crimson Rocks; I don't think anyone else has and I got a sample but found that and lineage both super peppery. Might have to give them another try. Did you like Blossom Love? Accident a la Vanille- Madeleine de Proust is delish too, again you're the only fragrance gal I watch who's mentioned it. I want to get the almond cake version too. Hard to find samples, I used ETSY x
Ooooh clove ice cream? I love that. I do get pepper in Crimson Rocks and Lineage but it's not pronounced for me ib either one. I have Blossom Love - a powerhouse! Floral, sweet, powdery for me. Feminine and elegant and soooo strong. Do you like it? I find Etsy to ge great for hard to find samples also. 👍
Hi Veronica, I've said it before and I'll say it again: your videos are such a treat. I always look forward to them. Your necklace is beautiful. It reminds me of the Boadicea bottles. I have Bodacious and it is one of the most beautiful bottles in my collection. It makes me think of some treasure you would find in the cave Aladdin went in to find the lamp. Your holiday line up is fantastic. Would you say that Starlight is like Remember Me? Because I love RM, but cannot do Starlight, which has too much cardemom for me. Personally, I don't think of them as alike.
Thank you so much! You are so sweet! 💖🥰 I just sniffed both Remember Me and Starlight, and I would say the cardamom is mote pronounced in Starlight and it's a drier scent texture while Remember Me has a more subdued cardamom and a milkiness. Hope this helps!

if you want to really be a spice bomb, try Mana by Nishane! Ginger, rose, sandalwood, pathchouli - its masculine yet very addictive. I received my new Alexandre J Zafeer finally and its wonderful. I think this house has some animalics or something bc it takes a few wearings to really get all the beautiful notes in the composition.

I ADORE panettone! My husband has family in Italy and panettone reminds me of spending the holidays there with them. Unfortunately, I can no longer eat it because of a stupid stomach condition, so I will just be spraying myself down in the fragrance this Christmas!

My SOTD today is Tonka Cola and I almost spit out my coffee when I heard "Old Spice" in connection to this! I think it's awesome but I have to admit that it does smell a little vintage to me (but I'm old and remember all the ambery fragrances from the 70s and 80s that my mom used to wear). Great video and I do need to get my nose on Starlight at some point.

I'm so glad you mentioned Amo. I hadn't pulled mine out in a while until you mentioned it, and as soon as I smelled it, it reminded me of D&G Devotion. I bought a travel spray of it and was on the fence as to whether I needed to whole bottle, and now I'll just pull out Amo. They are not the same exact fragrance but totally similar vibe for me.

Now, i may get it on its own due to to your remark: 🍞! I adore warm bread with butter! I grew up with daily bread (Mexico) fresh from bakeries daily. Yes, Old World exists in the Developing World 🌎 👏 Compliment from my boss yesterday: Bewitching Jazmin from Penhaligon! Love this list! I have a 10 ml decant of bronzo coming and (without having smelled it) I anticipate making it my Christmas Day scent! I love spices in my fragrance all the time, but especially this time of year. I can’t stop reaching for spicy vanilla gourmands- angels share, mirabile by v canto, tobacco vanille, khaltat night, and rose all dae are the ones that come to mind off the top of my head. I will add that for New Year’s Eve, I plan to take a different approach to my fragrance profile and think I will go with pink me up… a fun, sparkly, fruity scent feels like a fresh and celebratory scent profile for ringing in the new year ❤

Ohhh I looove crimson rocks! And panettone too…a lot of good picks…I’m disappointed in danza, I bought the blue bottle expecting apple pie and it’s not it, so I don’t know if I bought the wrong one, maybe there are flankers? I want the Demeter ones now, haven’t worn that since Dirt in the 90s! ❤
Hi Janice! I'm not sure what the difference is with the blue bottles either - if they are just packaged differently or are more potent. I don't think they are flankers in the traditional sense. Either way, La Danza is more clean shampoo with apple and spice than apple pie, in my opinion. I'm not sure how or why reviewers perceive apple pie, so I'm with you on that one. 👍

Actually, it's funny you say that. After I filmed I thought about it and figured out that Bronzo is a much more wearable more holiday version of L'elephant.

Mmm, I love bready scents. The only thing that’s putting me off with Panettone is the bitter orange part. I haven’t smelled it and wonder if the bready aspect will overshadow that 🤔
It does have a light bitter orange so you may want to sample it first to make sure it's going to work out for you. 👍👍👍
