It's actually nice to see a rehearsal, nice to see them make mistakes and see some changes from the final performance. We forget how much work goes into what we see in the final film
0:53 I feel the urgency in blue shirt to “GET THERE GET THERE GET THERE” cuz my gOd is it intense trying to get to your spot on time during position changes
Love seeing this kind of stuff, so cool to see a finish product half-formed. Was a bit disappointed not to have Ben Platt come out for his solo, but that lady's interpretative dancing was honestly an amazing substitute
I think its prpbably a demo made by the acapella arranger (maybe deke sharon or whatever his name is?) as to me it doesn't sound like any of them actually singing. could b wrong tho! it just sounds super different to me
I believe the woman in the blue shirt is Alexis Knapp (Stacie Conrad from The Barden Bellas) filling in for a guy that couldn’t make rehearsal that day.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who went “that is definitely a girl!” I came to the comments to see if anyone else noticed the person in the blue shirt was a female.
yes and no? It's their voices, obviously, but it's a pre-recorded track. They're just dancing in this video. That's why you can hear Benji despite him not being here.
@@ronnieeilert8491 This was actually made a lot earlier than Dear Evan Hansen, but he probably just couldn't make it that day. (I think Pitch Perfect 3 was the one he couldn't make because he was performing on Broadway)

The Treblemaker cast is so talented. Their choreograph and vocals together are just so amazing.

Wow this is totally different from their actual performance in the movie.
I'm shocked with Donald's low voice too.🥺💓✨
The voices might have been the demo ones from before they actually recorded for the movie.
Am I the only who can only hear the “get there get there!!” Even when they watch the movie version. Like I can’t unhear it now that I’ve seen this
1:46 lives inside my head 24/7
This version of Ben Platt really could have saved the evan hansen movie.
Omg Donald's voice sounds so different
Frrrr
I think its a pre-recording of them singing
@@CooL_Dino13 it is since his rapping is faster in the movie

I literally jus watched this to see the guy with the big fluffy hair 🤩
This was amazing I love the Indian rapper
Uh, am I the only one who didn't realize that one of them was a female? I've seen the movie a few times and never realized it.
I don’t think she’s actually present in the movie, could just be serving in place of Benji since he’s not there
@@hers6694 no, there’s another girl wearing blue
@@uivegito4634 Both girls are in place for someone. They probably couldn’t make it that day.

are they the one sinnging?
yes and no?

Question, was the one wearing the red cap a girl just now?
Not insulting, just asking.
Why isn't benji there
Because he couldn't make it that day
I think Ben Platt (Benji) was still performing on "Dear Evan Hansen" on Broadway, so his schedule must've been crazy!

@@ronnieeilert8491 pitch perfect 1 released way before dear evan hansen was even close to starting
We does it sound actually stupid
It's edited dude, its high pitch cuz of copyright.
