Your song lyrics aren't making my impending move to Yakima, WA any easier lol! While the Cascade Mountains will offer up plenty of epic hiking, I'll certainly miss Colorado. :( Merry Christmas to the Sangettas!

Im so glad the flood shut down that 4 wheel drive access. I am a avid jeeper, but that area was out of control with guns and off trail destruction. The area can heal now.

I am not a fan of drone photography, but that brief bit around 15:59 is really good.

I ride here multiple times per week (Mountain Biker), and this is a cool video. Too all hikers that use these trails just be respectful and yield to MTB's on the single track. All of these trails are built by bikers and almost entirely ridden by them as well.

Well, that was a fun little hike. Too bad I wimped out at the very top. That one rock puzzled me and I just couldn't figure out a way to get my leg up there to hoist myself, so I just sat down below and waited. Ha. I like these "out of the way" hikes you are finding for us to do! Fun times! ❤️

@@laurenbouchie2394Thank you for the nice comment, Lauren! Yeah, I was going to go to the very top, and that one rock was flat and tall. My shoes were still wet from the snow, and I thought......yeah.....NOPE! LOL. Nick has been finding some nice secluded hikes out there near Boulder and they've really been fun! So, Merry Christmas to you, too! Thank you for watching Nick's videos, and always leaving such nice comments! ❤

@@DENVEROUTDOORMAN. That's for sure. At my age, I try to be both adventurous and respectful of the dangers that are apparent! 😊

Great video! Liked the drone use on this one, and I’m not usually a fan of drones! Also loved the song.
How were the roads used to access this trail, getting there? Are there closures or restrictions this time of year?

@VincentPeraza Thank you! You park just off Lefthand Canyon Drive which is a major road and always open. There are no winter restrictions that I know of!

Used to go up there all the time beforre the 2013 flood to fourwheel and shoot guns.

I remember when it used to be a designated shooting spot...but I believe Boulder bitched about it.
Also Boulder got a ton of money to fix a bunch of flood damage that was mismanaged if I remember correctly
