Novarossi Bonito .21 7XLB/A engine break-in in the nb48 2.0 (heat cycle method)

After this break in I’m still going to take it easy when I put it on ground maybe richen it some depending on what I see when it’s on the ground, I will be doing figurates on 1/4 throttle then 1/2 throttle & 3/4 throttle before I go full throttle...

Tekno is the most durable out of all kits if you want to race or bash can’t go wrong with it

@@weekendrc thats what I thought Woogie nitro said the same things zi keep stripping my ring and pinion on my rtr 8ight.Cant wait to get a race kit.Do you still have your rtr?Is it still running?And out of curiosity what problems did you have with it besides the servos. Thanks for your reply looking forward to seeing a run video I know its cold out right now at least it is where I'm at in Missouri

@@jasonphillips4229 yeah I still have it, and the only other problem other than servos was the shocks so I upgraded them they kept leaking every time I would take it out for a bash

Nice find on that Bonito. I been looking for one for awhile but settled on a Mito7 Rally. It should make my Hyper7 move.

@@weekendrc Yup I know it lol. I wouldnt sell it either. I was making a joke. Yeah the Bonito supposed to be smooth but have top for days. I hope this Mito7 Rally has a smooth band but Im sure it will feel more on road like. Its going in a Hyper7 project I have going so as long as its fast IDK LOL.

What starter box are you using? And can the wheel handle a brand new engine and not burn out because I’m having issues with the protek starterbox

I’m using the ofna starter box they don’t sell this exact one but the racers edge blue starter box is exactly the same and available I’ll leave a link to it here, yes definitely can handle a new engine with a fully chard 4s lipo you can also find it in Amazon

Pre heat your engine to 240 and pay attention if it’s still sticking in the pinch push the flywheel on opposite direction to move the piston back down make sure you are at least over 220 degrees before trying again
My last engine took half a gallon before the pinch freed up
