I have a question. We have a VERY basic setup. We are a manufacturer but it consists of pulling one or more of the same piece and the product will just be that one piece. We want to receive them in inventory then when we pull them to produce it , we just need to reduce the inventory by that much and scrap inventory that we damage. Do we setup the products in Inventory and that is shared in the manufacturing module? When you say manufacturing barcode is that different than an inventory barcode? We also want to attach to those items the order number associated with it. So do we have to create an order first then deduct from inventory some how or can we scan to pull the item then in a field type in the order number?
