"For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not 🚫 perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16).
Wow!!!!!! I am speechless. What a wholesome and quality choir. Wonderful to see a well trained and disciplined choir in these days. God be honored through your music ministry. Hallelujah!!!!
1. Rejoice, ye pure in heart! Rejoice, give thanks, and sing; Your festal banner wave on high, The cross of Christ your King. Refrain: Rejoice! Rejoice! Rejoice, give thanks, and sing! 2. With voice as full and strong As ocean's surging praise Send forth the sturdy hymns of old The psalms of ancient days. 3. With all the angel choirs With all the saints on earth Pour out the strains of joy and bliss, True rapture, noblest mirth. 4. Yes, on through life's long path, Still chanting as ye go; From youth to age, by night and day, In gladness and in woe. 5. Praise Him who reigns on high, The Lord whom we adore The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, One God forevermore.
Did I say "beautiful performance". What an understatement! What I meant was this is an extraordinary performance!!! Magnificently done. I wish you could take all this beautiful God glorifying music (orange tie & scarf) and put it on a c.d. and sell it to us. Please.
I have searched for some time to find a good rendition of the lovely piece of music. Honestly, I am not a fan of 'choir' music. Too many voices that don't always blend well, or the music is too loud. However, THIS IS NIGH PERFECT. Thank you for sharing it. The voices blend very well, the music is just right, not too loud or too soft. And the performers all have lovely voices.
I have to confess; when i saw that it was a Black choir accompanied by a Black accompanist, I expected it to be done in the typical Black style. But this was WONDERFUL!! The choir sounds very nice, and it is a wonderful arrangement of one of my very favorite hymns. BRAVO!!!!!
"Typical black style." First, your praise of this song doesn't mean anything, you don't nor take away anything from the song. Second, if your illiterate ass can read, my name is clearly Alize. Third, you just contradicted yourself trying to be cute. Dumbass. Stay humble in your ignorance.
Ignorance shows. "Classical music" style was started by AFRICAN Europeans. Black Americans are the most diverse artists this world will ever see. Please don't feel your qualifier of "traditional" makes your comment any less offensive. I am the Minister of Music at an African American church that sings it all!
I love this arrangement, and have also heard it on the radio with an orchestral accompaniment. Can anyone please let me know who this arrangement is from? Thanks.
Excellent, excellent, EXCELLENT!!! I wish that I had you all sing in my hymn videos! Where was this recorded, and what make and size of the organ? Good job! I hope that you respond as it doesn't seem like you've responded to other comments...
Great singing, and I love this arrangement. Can you please post up the arranger/publisher of this piece? Also, I've heard this same arrangement on the radio, with a choir and full orchestra; is it your recording? Thanks, and God bless.
Haha, as an organist, I agree! I usually HATE it when the piano is used almost in competition with the organ on hymns. Hymns should be organ and voices ONLY and keep Liberace out of it as it'll sound like a Baptist church (they're infamous for doing the piano and that damn orchestra on hymns trying to drown out the organ) and their corny take on hymns, but this was EXCELLENT! Very well sung and arranged. Wish I had this choir for all of my hymn videos!
Beautiful tribute to our Lord, Savior and coming King. Thank you for your ministry glorifying our God! SHALOM and MARANATHA! 🙏 ♥️✝️✡️🇺🇲🇮🇱🎺
It is March 2023. I just completed studying. And I started singing the chorus of this song. This choir is amazing. Praise God!
❤
BEAUTIFUL ARRANGEMENT! one of my favorite hymns!!!
"For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not 🚫 perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16).
I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (August 22), I played this for Sunday School assembly.
I felt like I was in Heaven! Astounding! God bless you all and thank you so much

Beautiful! What a fine choir! Sorry I have not discovered this choir earlier!❤

Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, you righteous: and shout for joy, all you that are upright in heart. Psalm 32:11

I've watched this video five times and still get goosebumps. Ending is a littile anitclamatic, but still a flawless performance.
I love love love this! It is just what I am looking for.
Gorgeous.

Agreed. This is the best example of what a choir is capable of.
Just beautiful
Loved it!!! Hope you post more soon. Thanks much.

Typical black style? Loud, upbeat, southern baptist-ish? That's the "typical black style"? Get over yourself.
+Alizé Gittens Get over myself?!?! Creature, I PRAISED this rendition! But since you insist, I think that it is worse than crap!

Is that Adrian Westney Jr. on piano? Whose arrangement is this? I love it.
I love this arrangement, and have also heard it on the radio with an orchestral accompaniment. Can anyone please let me know who this arrangement is from? Thanks.
Arranged by Adrian T. Westney,Jr. He is also the pianist.
Tx God

The arranger is the accompanist on the piano. A.T. Westney.
I wish churches went back to choirs
Tom Rodgers - unfortunately after this pandemic choirs may be an even bigger casualty. The sharing and expulsions of air make them plague spreaders

I was expecting something jubuliant to make me feel better but this wasn't even close.
Words and lyrics trump the music tbh.
It's unfortunate that we did not please you. However, not all choirs, or singers can please everyone. Not even God can please everyone. *Sigh!*
Praise the Lord.......
Beautiful!!!
