Good to know. Obviously, drones are not allowed in national parks, but some people think it's ok to break the law when no one's looking. Just went to Joshua Tree a couple of weeks ago. Loved it.
This is why its hard for me to leave California, you have the beach, the desert, the mountains, the forests, the cities, the farms all in one state! You want to see some snow? We got that too! The weather is perfect❤ If only we had a bullet train……..one could only hope!

3:00, Oh I remember red rock canyon. In June of 2021, I went to Las Vegas for the 1st time with my family and friends to drive and visit red rock and it's awesome and stunning.
My love of Cactus 🌵brought me to Phoenix, now Joshua tree national park is added to my buckelist to go to. Visit Sedona too one of my fave US spot. ❤️
Hopefully soon we get to visit sedona as well☺️
Love California. The diversity, the food, the beaches, the national parks, the snow in the mountains, hollyweird, beverly hills, santa monica….and yes, the desert which is absolutely stunning at sunrise.

Western USA is a huge area; many people don't realize that 50% of it is Public Land, basically, anyone can go there, camp etc; this is outside of National Parks etc . . . you can buy a tent and supplies and simply go camp (check online with BLM for restrictions for Eco-sensitive areas etc). Nevada is 90% Public Land ! 😺😺😺
Ann has snake boots, so she will be fine. Snakes don't bite above the knee.😁
You guys should have driven the van down. Most of the area is free to camp. Not in the national park, outside the park. Visit Palm Springs, lots of good restaurants. Nice town. We go every few years. Drive down from SF. If you get a chance, hwy 395 to Reno on the Eastern side of Sierra's is a beautiful drive. CA has so much to see/do, but it is expensive.
Haha truee! And that would of been awesome but unfortunately we only had the van for a couple of days. Godwilling we get to do a vanlife series in the states in the near future.

I live in an area with Cholla cactus. We call them jumping cactus because you can walk to close and they simply “jump” off the plant and onto your skin….and that’s not fun! I was worried you might have this happen while you were in the cactus garden. Thankfully no.

I'm just wondering, where do you go for Bathroom duties when there is no bathroom facilities in the desert? What about the campers? I guess they have a bathroom in their campers.

Hi! From what we read we didnt need a permit if we are 1-2 people, camera and tripod only: $0/day. Hopefully this correct 😫
@@JanandAnnI’ve seen so many UA-camrs talk about that. If it’s commercial in any way like UA-cam or Insta it’s a license. Many have talked about it. You may have a better look. The 1-2 is for private use like a family vacation. I’m not UA-cam police but they have handed out some fines against channels. Some of the bigger channels have lamented the issue. Anyway good luck on your journey.
