I have both, and I think I like M-VI-Yoh more, that armor combined with the 2 shot's alpha and reticle calibration is just amazing. T57 Heavy is badass, but it only has 8 degrees of gun depression where Yoh has 10 - with either gun, and it has no armor to rely on at all - it will bounce, but it also won't. Yoh hulldown you only have hatches - and if you look up when reloading they are almost impossible to hit
I prefer to play the T57 like a medium or second tier behind the superheavies if possible. I have had the Yoh researched forever but just haven't bought it yet, but I have found the Tier 9 to be quite effective so I will most likely play it more like a heavy. I guess it really depends on your play style which one would be better for you.
I can't say I agree with using Refined gun - but it's personal tastes. The aimtime and on-movement are much better with vertical stabilizers - if I need pinpoint accuracy I try to save reticle calibration for that, the base accuracy is decent enough I can hit without it fine normally anyway. Also I prefer Consumable delivery system cause having Reticle and repairs come back quicker is important, also you can't really use the entire base time of Reticle Calibration anyway.
OH BTW - Next Update - sure M-VI-Yoh Turret traverse is nerfed a little, but the terrains crossing and HULL rotation has increased by effectively as much as the turret decrease. I see next update as an overall Buff to the Yoh
I did not see anywhere that the T57 heavy is losing shell reload boost, only that it is losing a little DPM from the full clip reload being 2.88 sec longer - well and losing some pen on standard at least - mean T57 AP should be about the same 265mm of pen as 2 shot yoh. But I never heard T57 is losing the clip reload boost, biggest nerf seems to be hull armor, so it will have even less to rely on.

I would still suggest the YOH, it's better effective armor mobility and quick damage output with the 2 shot gun makes it a good tank for new players
