Some reasons to support Onewe
1. Songwriters and composers for ALL of their songs, mostly as main writers
2. Charitable - for example part of this album’s proceeds go to supporting rookie creators
3. Self-formed band since 2015 - friends who decided to do music together, started by busking before debuting
4. Multitalented, such as playing several instruments, dancing, composing, uploading frequent covers or short creations on sns, painting, launchpad covers, … Member CyA even has a soundcloud to upload his own works!

1. Songwriting: in all the songs they’ve released as Onewe, at least one member is credited as composer AND writer. All of the members are known to write songs. Except for two songs, they’re the main composers AND lyrics writers for all of them.
To show their attitude towards music, a quote: “You have to care for a song as preciously as you care for a baby. So it doesn't get injured, doesn't get hurt. You want to be proud of sending it out to the world” - tl credit @ keonfeet on twitter)
To give a couple examples, this song, End of Spring, was co-written and co-composed by Cya. One of my favourites, Regulus, was written and composed by the guitarrist, Kanghyun, inspired by the book The Little Prince!
2. Charitable acts: part of the album proceeds will go to CJ Foundation in support of new creators. Their first-ever official song was dedicated to victims of sexual slavery by the japanese army during WWII (with lyrics by then-15-years-old member Cya), they also volunteered in a nursing home for these victims.
They have also performed for children with developmental disabilities (Yonghoon said about the experience “I thought this was the reason why we perform and do music” - tl credit to studioweus on Tumblr)
3. Self-formed: members Harin, Kanghyun and Cya went to the same music institution/academy and formed the band. They later recruited Dongmyeong, Cya’s friend and neighbour, as vocalist. They performed as session band at a singing contest which Yonghoon won - there they invited him to join too! The band was formed in 2015 and debuted later in that year while managed by their music academy. During their first times, they’d do busking performances near stations or other public locations, even if they were kicked out (tl credit @ONEWEworldwide on twitter, SportSeoul interview)
They moved to RWB Ent. in 2017 and redebuted in 2019!
4. Multitalented: to see which specific noteworthy talents each member has, check the member profiles in the reply below ~
MEMBER PROFILES
Yonghoon: main vocalist, oldest and leader. Can play guitar and piano, as well as write and compose songs. His voice truly shines in Reminisce about all, a ballad he wrote and composed inspired by his own experiences of hardship such as when he lived alone while pursuing music.
Harin: drummer. Also very skilled at piano, and can play bass, do beatbox and program+perform amazing launchpad covers (lights and sound shows). We know he also writes and composes, but no song from him has been released so far.
Kanghyun: guitarist (acoustic and electric), his ability is such that his company’s producers ask him for help with it. Can also play drums, bass, ukulele and keyboard, as well as write and compose songs. Former kendo athlete and huge bookworm.
Dongmyeong: pianist and vocalist. His dancing ability was once praised by Rain, and he at least once knew how to play the harmonica. Also good at painting, and has written lyrics for songs, although we only know the title for one (A wonderful person - dedicated to his father), unreleased.
CyA: bassist, rapper and maknae. He can also play keyboard, acoustic guitar, drums and recorder to some degree. He’s a songwriter/composer/producer since at least 15 years ols, and is at least co-writer and co-composer for ALL of the songs in their first full album, ONE! His soundcloud has more songs written and/or produced by him, such as rap mixtapes
They all participated in the survival show The Unit, where they had to dance and sing, so some deal of ability for both is a given for them all! :)

Now im kinda glad to have watched their predebut reality show years ago even when i wasn't into kpop and was just a baby moomoo. To anyone wanting to know if they are playing live-they are singing and rapping live, yes, but their instruments are not plugged in. However, this isn’t because they *can’t* play live, it’s because music shows don’t let bands play live because they think it takes too long to set up and clean up, etc.

Yep, no music show lets bands play live. You can kind of hear Harin's drums in the singer's mics when they go up to him though
You can also tell theyre still playing their instruments, you just cant actually hear them lol
yes music shows doesn't allow them to play live but since it's a true intruments, they can still play if they want but it's not plugged in the sound system right?

How many other k-pop groups/bands were formed naturally by real life friends and not selected by producers? I mean, this is really noteworthy. Not only them forming naturally, but them staying together for many years, changing companies together, participating in survival shows together without anyone leaving the band to become a dancing group member, which is a much easier option, let's be honest, especially for the visuals like them.

I still can't believe that Onewe are this underrated!! They look like they're such a pro band who's been in the industry for YEARS already. I feel like I'm watching a huge band with tons of fans cheering for them in the audience, that they're worldwide famous stars with millions of fans. It's hard to believe that these people with their INSANE amount of talent and such quality music, are this underrated. For real I see a bright future in front of them. They'll get big
They have been a band for years :) they got together in 2015 and they were known as MAS and M.A.S. 0094 but they redebuted under RBW as ONEWE
@@_dani_doodle_ yup, knew that they were formed in 2015 already, but they debuted under RBW only a year ago, and basically before that they weren't under any company so there was no company that would promote them properly. It's a lot harder to get noticed by the public like that. Rbw is actually doing their job on promoting Onewe and I think that with that kinda promotion they'll get big in some years😊 Anyways, the point of my previous comment was that they give off a feeling of a very experienced and famous band! Like their stage presence is amazing, they're all good-looking, multitalented, they come out with such versatile concepts in their music and they end up slaying them all...they just have it all. It's so hard to believe that a band like this is underrated🙈

- Actually, ONEWE had been in RBW since 2017. But debuted as the name ONEWE just last year.
- Before being ONEWE, they were MAS 0094, had debuted before and even went to music shows and some shows like 'All that Music' -> they were still afiliated with ModernK Music Academy at that time.
They changed their name to MAS after joining RBW ^^
When they get big I'll be able to proudly say that I was with them since the beginning hahahahaahaha..your username is the world when this bop finally gets recognition
