Thank You for this Coach Tasha. I'm filling out my W4 form now my son is 16 and turns 17 in Oct. Do I still add him as a qualified child under the age of 17?
Hi Sharon. You are most welcome. Great question! If your son turns 17 in October, you cannot claim him as a qualifying child under the age of 17 on your W-4 form for this year. Instead, you can still claim him as a dependent but in a different section for other dependents. This will affect your tax credits but not your ability to claim him. Also...I have a new video for Head of Household regarding W-4 that I highly recommend you check out. Hello. I am needing help completing 4b. I am single, no kids, and I usually claim an allowance ? How to do calculation ….or what is formula?
Hi. Thank you for watching. The form has now since changed. Here is a new Class. It is targeted for Single people and I will be releasing new classes for other filing statuses. ua-cam.com/video/w_3wK2F-koc/v-deo.html
If i have multiple jobs, (filing single and no children) do i need to claim 0 or 1 dependent for both jobs?
Thanks for watching. Actually the option to claim exemptions on a Federal level no longer exists. And for your State, if you live in a State that they withhold taxes, then that is where you would indicate 0 or 1. And just to further explain...you are considered 1 exemption, not a dependent. A dependent is another person who resides in your home that you take care. Hope this helps. (Disclosure: not considered financial advice)
Hello. How can I get more information about booking an appointment with you?
Hi. Thanks for watching. Here's my calendar calendly.com/khardge/
Do you work in all states? I need a new cpa to help with this
@@VictoriaMySecret Hi. Yes I do. For more info, please email me at khardge@hardgeconnections.com.
How can my 17yr that's still in school fill out his W4. This is his first job.
Thanks for watching. it's probably a good idea for him to just fill out his name, ssn, etc at the top and then sign at the bottom and check Single at the top. Because you'll probably still be claiming him until he reaches 18 and depending on how much he's earning...you may still be able to claim him or you might not. Hope this helps.
i need single with two jobs how to flll out W5
Hi...you should be fine just making sure that you fill out both W-2s for each job "the same" and be sure to check that box on both forms about having a second job. Hope this helps. (Disclosure: Not considered financial advice )
