@@chris-piascik I don't at all think their response is above board. They got caught and are trying to make excuses. The language is very clearly pointing towards AI training, "for improvement of their services". They are trying to say it's all for the good of customers, but have not made any effort as of yet to actually address anything with any legal verbiage.
And yes, you can opt out. Probably, to some things. What you're opting out of isn't clear in the settings. While the terms to use the service in section 4 don't actually say anything about being able to opt out of that part of the TOS, which makes me think that's not what you're opting out of. And of course, it's something you shouldn't have to opt out of to begin with.
And I understand that Fresco is your bread and butter for your workflow, so it's hard to want to step away from that when Adobe blatantly messes up. But there's a large part of me that wishes you would. There's a lot of people who have signed up and will sign up for Fresco (myself included) based on your reviews. If you were able to step away and publicly push against this, as one of Adobe's biggest supporters, I think it would go a long ways in helping to force them to walk this one back.

@@chris-piascik I love your channel but I think you are giving Adobe too much slack. Two things can be true at the same time. Adobe has great programs sure. But the fact you have to opt-out instead of opt-in already is messed up. And they have done really shady stuff when it comes to canceling your subscription, the terms of service are very artist-unfriendly and they even are getting sued now by the FTC. As a artist you are their product and as of now they are tricking most people into giving their talents to use that against them in the future. Even you, a few brand deals or a shoulder tap won't take away the fact that they are trying to use the creativity of you to discard you from your job.
