If you get stuck in the snow or sand, 2 leftover new roof shingles will work great to put in front of tires to give them grip. They don't take much space in your car.
Use 2 used car mats, no wasted space, no additional expense
and extra weight, those bundles are heavy.

I know that you posted a long bit ago.. but if you go to any parts store they have these available. And to be honest, I found mine at Walmart of all places and on sale! It cost 90 bucks, but it's so worth it! I say this because I've switched from a truck to a subaru and have less storage space, but these will fit just about anywhere.. good luck

These new jump starters are great! I was considering a bigger, bulky, box type since i owned a full size truck. But with all of my work tools and other things a big box isn't what I needed! So I opted for one similar to the one here, and let me tell you it's a life saver and is super compact! Spend the extra money and get the best one you can afford, it is so worth it! I've only had to use once for myself, but it was a crappy , rainy day, I stayed late at work and non one was around when I found my truck dead! Worked awesome, plus I've used it to help others jump start their car!
And the price was worth it...I spent 90$ on mine. Worth the money. Holds a charge for a very long time, has a digital display that tells you how much charge is contained. Mine also has an emergency blinking light that I have used once to help someone change a tire in the dark. I was worried about being hit so I set this up on the side of the road and the blinking light let people know I was ahead and slowed down,so that alone was worth the money!! I'm not sponsored at all... but get these for anyone in your family! A kid that's just moving out or going to school, your wife, girlfriend so they don't have to talk to strangers and ask for a jump !! They're a little pricey, but worth every penny!! They can get up to $150 or more but $100 is worth your safety and your families

@@BillBadMule123 I have a Benz C260L, it works very well for my car.
It won't start the vehicles they said it will - it may start a V8 sportscar, but it won't do anything with diesel trucks (Injected Diesel cars it may be able to jump).
It won't touch a fully depleted battery.
If you want anything more than a glorified power pack you want 2000 available peak Cold Cranking Amps at 50% pack charge.
Noco GB70 ($250) will actually push enough into a dead battery to register and crank after about 60 seconds. And if the alternator is dead will provide enough power to get you to a safe place to park (about 1 mile, tops). No other battery jump box I've seen will do this - they cut off after 30 seconds.
Hulkman Alpha 100 ($300) will, indeed, crank 10 litre diesel pickups - MAYBE (tends to go into safe mode and become useless for 10 minutes).
With jump boxes you get what you pay for, and anything below $150 will leave you stranded.

dash cams need to get away from suction cups. they dont work after a year and are a pain when putting up a window shade. The Garmin magnet that is the size of a quarter and sticks to the window, is the best solution out there.
Most of these gadgets are basically for todays models. My car is 1980. It will be very expensive to have it upgraded.
The US needs to set a standard for these mounts so you don't have to use a completely different one every time you switch them out. Suction cups, at least, pop off and don't leave anything behind. Those adhesive ones leave grunge behind and cannot be used for other brands or even variations of the same model.
Don't like Garmin, I had one and the night vision wasn't good. I now have the Viofo a119 v3, night vision much better and have used the suction mount, putting it on and taking it off when I'm parked, for more than a few years now and still going strong.
The same can be said about the mounts that plug into your ventilation. It disables positioning the direction of the breeze and there are quite a few car models that don't take just any mount.
On the other hand, I really don't like gluing anything to the car. Once your gadget breaks down (and it does so before the car breaks down), you're stuck with it because it's usually not removable without damaging your car. There are "professional grade" suction cups that last but manufacturers ought to use them.
@Sammy Twotone It would work for glass and other solid hard surfaces. Remaining glue from tape can easily be removed with a bit of vegetable or other oil... but if you have to stick something to dashboards, very sticky tape can make unrepairable damage. If you ever plan on selling your vehicle, it might be a costly choice.

Monitors on the trucks is a great idea but no one will spend money on that.
1st Any dash cam I buy will have a polarizing filter because the glare is bad.
2nd. The Lanmodo looks interesting but is $400. A blanket-like cover, secured by bungee cords at the corners, would be far cheaper. High winds are always a risk with these things though.
That's what I was thinking. It's practically a sail and that's a lot of surface area for a suction cup and a couple bungees to hold on strong gusts.
I like the Dashcam that doesn't just show what's happeing on the outside, but also the inside, so if the Cops pull you over and you take your seatbelt off to get your insurance papers, the Cops may arrive and fine you for not wearing a seatbelt, but with a camera showing the inside, you've got the proof that you had your seatbelt on.
How about don’t do anything until instructed. It is safest that way.
@@kennethgoodhart2650 I like to quickly get out my documents before the police get to my window for two reasons. 1. So they can't shoot me while I am digging for my documents and 2. So they don't take that opportunity to conduct a visual search of the inside of my compartments. Which is part of what they want to do anyway so denying them that makes me feel good.

Is a sad state of affairs where they now sell a special wallet to put your documents in before you start driving. After being pulled over, the wallet is designed to hang outside the window minimizing the interaction - no peeking in the globe box, no awkward reaching, no need to remove seat belt to reach something, and even limiting odors by only lowering window enough to hear officer .
Can you imagine how a car would look if it had all of these devices?

11:35 this thing would get stolen instantly. Any pretty much every fancy electronic thing showing in your car would get stolen immediately. If it isn't bolted down, it's getting stolen these days. Everything fancy and expensive should be stealthy and invisible, thus deterring car car thieves from targeting your car.

Sa review Lanmodo pro 4 season car tent =on Amz =biggest piece of garbage scratched the roof of my car beyond repair, worthless; westbay review on Amz=within 24 hours one of the plastic hinges snapped in two because of a small gust of wind,left scratches all along the hood, both fenders and the top of the roof...another gust of wind snapped another hinge. This time the results were much worse. The suction base was lifted off my roof and the entire thing start moving around on my hood (Nest cam pointed and was able to rewatch both incidents)

Why would anyone use an ODB connector to power anything from and ODB port. That's a diagnostic port for the vehicle computer. Short that out and you'll really be in a bind.

Around here, (southwestern Pennsylvania) The cops would be on you within a few minute. Especially in my town. Demanding that you either cut the wires off of it, or get a fine, or both.. I had simple, amber colored lighted washer-nozzles once. Basically accent lights of LEGAL color on my car. Got pulled over and had the cop hand me a pair of wire cutters. I was forced to open the hood and cut the wires to the lights. His reasons: "They are distracting to other drivers" (No.) "They might blind someone." (..and these blue & red strobes and sun-intensity spotlights spotlights on his car aren't.. Riiiight..) "You are impersonating a cop." (Seriously, he did say that!) "They are dangerous equipment." "If it's not factory stock, it's illegal. " (No. it's not.) It was cut the wires, or get fined 300 dollars per light. (He yanked that number out his ass as the "Unsafe equipment" fine is 50 dollars)
So I could imagine what they would do with a scrolling, animated unit that is basically a low-res screen in your back window.. Hell they'd just steal the whole car. (They call that "Impounding", I call it theft. Had a cop steal my car for a headlight being out! I was on my way to replace it! No wonder the police department in this town was shut down for corruption.)
I'd laugh in that cop's face and tell him to find a mall security job, since he has no idea how to wear the uniform or know the first line from the penal code.
And that mojipic is pure shit. You know that within seconds people will have 'fuck you' and 'learn to drive, asshole' flashing on it.
As an emergency services worker it would be convenient to have arrows or other warnings displayed but, well, I've got so damn many lights on my car people would miss a tiny little middle finger in the back window.

Folks these days use cameras on the end of a stick to record their activities. You see these stuck on airplane wings and also paramotor pilots. If you stuck the camera on the end of a stick and attached it to your car, The display would allow you to see over the hulking pickup in front of you. Or around the 18-wheeler.
It could fold down along the roof line when not in motion.
Many vehicles have luggage racks, mine does not. I'm not sure how it would be attached.
Perhaps a double suction cup on the roof? Two suction cups for stability...

I can see ALL truckers adding the cameras and the screens...yea right. One problem is a trucker, whether they own the tractor or work for a firm, change out trailer many times with different loads so will all have the screen on the back? Great idea that will never come to happen.

Be aware that Mojipic or devices like them is banned in NY State as the law says that its a distraction to motorist. You will get a steep very heavy fine if police catches you with one.
A few friends of mine had a device similar to the mojipic and they incurred are $500 fine from the judge and a court order of a forcible take-down of the item in question..
You can always use it on the side window of your car :)

If you have driven a mirrorless vehicle (using cameras instead) you will soon realise what a pain in the arse these things are. Break a camera stalk off and you are looking at over a £1000 ($1500) to replace.
