Chicago drivers are just as bad as New Yorkers.
This is everyday driving here, hell sometimes I do it myself just to get back at half the idiots driving around mindlessly.
Going through the city like the Bronx is worse than this.
We have ore one New York here in Europe it’s called Parijs it’s all the same bad driver and no patience

I'd end up with PTSD driving thru that jungle everyday. One has to have a lot of situational awareness or you're screwed. Nice you have some new buddies - we all need them. Be safe!

I totally don’t miss my days driving. Down the LIE and the BQE. Traffic honestly looked kinda normal by the Brooklyn bridge… and the Verrazano bridge didn’t seem to busy which was a plus. Nice close up of Fort Wadsworth, some very cool gun emplacements there.
Seein old Orwell blow some coal when it starts out especially in a morning, seeing any old mechanical beast roll some coal is mmmmm mmmm 🤘🏼🤘🏼😀😀😎😎
Boy I sure do not miss that type of situation to drive in. Done the New York, New Jersey, Long Island driving and it seems it’s never changed. Ya got to go in and let everyone else do there thing and you just keep your wits about you. Don’t get involved with the surrounds and the shit happening around you. So many drivers will not go there. I drove in nyc for 8 yrs dump trucks,roll off and garbage and don't miss 1 minute of it bro.
It takes a lot of patience to deal with that kind of traffic lol.

Calling I-495 an Expressway is a LIE!
First time I've seen the roadway of the new Kosciuszko Bridge. It was built after I came off the road.
BQE the usual. I've been up and down it in 4 wheelers since I got my license at 16. Yes I know your supposed to be 18 to drive in the city, but no one ever stopped me in NY except for the Police Chief out in Quogue. He knew how old I was and reminded me I wasn't supposed to drive in NYC were my dad and I had just driven out from. I asked did he see me driving in Manhattan? He laughed and just sent me on my way. Happy he wasn't dealing with another dui.
Going down the BQE brings back a lot of memories.

In another video I mention about putting chrome wheels on Orwell , I was thinking that if you care about Orwell that much you would want him to look real nice running down the road. I learned to drive a cab over and drove one for many years.

Been on those roads many a time (in the past). They are a$$hole driver magnets; driving on shoulders, darting in and out, no/partial lights at night, and last minute exit takers.

One of the good things about a cabover is u can get as close as u can to piss off NYC drivers but than again they r pissed as soon as they start driving been there with a school bus 🚌 it's wild

Those tires you mentioned are a major Korean tire manufacturer. They are pretty good everyday drivers for cars. I believe they have a tire manufacturing plant in Clarksville, TN (one of the Korean tire manufacturers is there).
