“No replacement for displacement” lol the 850 does great, the 1000 would be just as awesome. The 1000 weighs a little more than the 850 so it would probably move a little more snow when it came to big piles. Would love a 1000 but the 850 does the job for me. If the 850 ever break down on me I’d probably go for the 1000 just to try it out.
I plow with a sportsman 550 and it has plenty of power for a 60" blade. I have a 800 ft drive way and we get lots of snow. It's more about weight and traction.
I've been plowing driveways for a few years and I'm curious on how much you charge just to plow a single driveway and a small parking lot like this one?
How many clients do you have, and typically what do you charge for residential properties? I'd like to start doing this, this winter. Thanks and great videos. Keep them coming.
I try to take on as much as I can handle (how many hours can I handle at one time) how much I charge depends on how much you need to make in order to make a profit but also not overcharge and lose business. Every property is a different size and requires different needs as well as the area you live/work in will change pricing as well. Luckily an ATV doesn’t require much to fill up at the gas station as other equipment does but If your transporting your ATV with a truck just more costs to take into account. Set a goal, see what you need to make in order to have a profit and always remember to have a good time on the quad every free chance you can 😂 some good donuts are always fun on long days 👍
I was going to ask you the same thing! My plow is holding up great. Only issue I’m having is my thumb control module sticking more and more in the up position and my left side hydraulic thumb control freezes sometimes when moister gets in but it’s not to big of deal. It probably just needs re-lubricated inside.
Auto Pilot ah yeah that seems like a quick fix. Just take apart the control and spray a little Fluid Film inside in the button part. I’d wouldn’t touch any of the connectors with anything but dielectric grease. But that’s fully enlisted so i wouldn’t even think you would need that. Just hit the buttons. As for mine, it’s holding up great. Last year I always noticed my blade hung a little more to the right so the cutting edge wore out that way so I just replaced the cutting edge. And it’s weird. I put a 2” lift on the machine and now the blade sits more even so the cutting edge should wear even. But I’m keeping an eye on it and I’ll take it in to the shop to see if I need an adjustment somewhere. Other than that, it’s phenomenal!!!
Nice work, buddy! I like the way you raised your plow to minimize damages to the grass. 👍
🤘
You'll get better over time.
Someone needs to come out with a way to make ATV's shuttle shift like tractors. That would make this much less painful.
Was it just me or was that plane really low at 00:42 ???
Me two
Most likely by an airport.
Love the content
If you don’t mind me asking how old are you? And how many accounts do you have for snow plowing
What’s the biggest lot size you would plow with that set up and how long would it take?
Where did you get the v plow from
Originally from HCL equipment but they don’t supply boss anymore. Dark horse outfitters in Bozeman Montana supplies all my Boss/plowing needs now 👍
Does the 850 work good power wise or would the 1000 be to much ?

I just got a Sportsman 850 Premium last year and I haven’t been disappointed. I personally think it’s the perfect size atv.
Does this plow fit an can am Outlander?
Yes! They make a mounting bracket for outlanders.
You plow even if it's a dusting?
Depends on the site and customers needs/wants.
How many hours are on your machine?
180
i was about to plow with my atv today but something is wrong with the belt.

My good sir I have a question
On your plow does it have spring return like the ones for a truck or is all cylinder on that
All hydraulic in and out. Only spring operated feature is a full plow trip spring.
@@AutoPilotMT ah okay.
landscaper will have a lot of work after the season ;-)
It’s all dirt and weeds under.
