Scrap Haul, Metal Prices, Free Yamaha Blaster, and a Broken Windshield!

- Finally hauled a load of scrap for recycling, from that, I can provide current metal prices for anyone considering the effort. During the return trip, I added a free Yamaha Blaster Quad and broken windshield to the adventure. If one does the math on the day, I would of turned out further ahead staying in bed for the day!

Ambition has it's own perverted price tag.
The rain x windshield chip repair kit from Walmart might stop that crack. I used it on my wife’s vehicle and it did stop the crack at the top of the windshield and somewhat filled it. Have used that product for windshield rock chips with varying results. Long time watcher of the Hoard, don’t think I have ever commented on any videos. Appreciate the videos.
Awesome video Harvey! The windshield sucks though. I don't know about down there, but up here they hate replacing rear windows because of the price. Very expensive.
They don't even question front ones anymore 😂 an after market one is usually cheaper then a deductible ( 175$) without install.
You guys get much better scrap prices though that's for sure
You could see if you can get some glue to repair the cracks, automotive window repairs use it here in Australia, as long as it's not directly in front of the person's in the front,thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Hey Donald, Here in New York, a cracked with window or reflector is a fail, depending on the inspector, they may overlook it. They professionally do that glass repair, unfortunately, I think the crack has progressed too far, I may swing by a shop and see what they can do.... Hey Harvey, I been watching for a while, I was wondering if the harness conversions you make would work on a bayou 185? I just picked one up but the cdi is bad and they're hard to find, I'd like to convert it if possible
Harvey I have Honda fourtrax 200SX. When I ground the neutral the light comes on. When I unplug or ground reverse the light stays on either way does this mean my cdi unit is bad ? My kill switch is new and all the wires look good. Nothing happens when I wiggle them. Only way I can get it to turn off is if I unplug the cdi plug. I’m chasing a no spark problem my pull start used to work but now it does not since I started messing with electric. My kill switch did burn out which made me buy a new one.
Hey Cheech! Without seeing, touching and testing Ur machine, it is about impossible to determine exactly what is going on, but, I will try to help U. First of all, the neutral switch located within the engine provides ground to the dash neutral light and the starter solenoid coil. The 12volts for both indicator lights and the starter button which powers the starter solenoid when pushed comes from the key switch. Now about the reverse switch, it is proving ground, (which lights the reverse light), and it actuates the rev limiter, most atvs will not start with the rev limiter actuated.... For some reason, as I read Ur description, I have a feeling more is going on... I would make sure that the plug is good, that Ur valves are not too tight. etc.... @@HarveySpooner with the new cdi the reverse light goes out. Old cdi it comes back on. So I’m thinking maybe when my kill switch burned out it burned out my key switch as well? That’s the only thing I haven’t replaced. And well the stator and neutral reverser switch. My neutral switch is definitely pushed into the engine case. As in most online pics I see it protruding out of engine case. I KNOW HAVE GOOD SPARK PLUG COMPRESSION CARB WORKING GOOD. with the spark plug out of engine I am not getting NO SPARK whatsoever. So with the only problem being no spark coming from the wire where do I go from here? Thank you for your time
