As a 10 year old boy I remember the hairs on the back of my neck standing up when I heard the first four bars of this awesome track for the first time. ‘WTF is this’ I thought. ‘OMG what’s happening to me’, and something really did happen to me that day and my love of 70’s music was born! Написал на Голос Америки письмо Юрию Осмоловскому ведущему музыкальной программы со словами благодарности от всех кто жил в его программах живя за Железным занавесом .Мне ответила его жена Шэрон Осмоловская тоже работающая в то время на Голос Америки и там были слова ,что очень был рад ,что его программы нам нравились и пожелал мне успехов на музыкальном поприще. Он ушел с радио и через некоторое время его не стало. Так ,что друзья спасибо ,что помните этих великих людей которые несли нам через эфир музыку и благодаря которым мы остались рокерами на всю жизнь. Да здравствует Рок Ин Ролл.

No offence, I realize that you are saying that T.Rex deserves their accolades, which they (Marc) definitely deserve(s). But RNR HOF is a gimmick. It's an expensive carnival sideshow, with built in hype. It's about selling tickets, more than recognizing the true gods of Rock-N-Roll. As a museum, it makes sense. But as a Hall Of Fame, _and the judge_ of who has a right to be in and who doesn't, *it's a total fail.* Two good things come from T Rex being inducted into the HOF. One, it will happen on my birthday ♉️ 🙌 👏 👍, and 2, people who have not gotten know T Rex, will finally have a better chance. Beyond that, take a look at who is in, and look at who has been passed over. RNRHOF is a business. It's *_NOT_* Rock-N-Roll. *Damn the man, save The Empire!* (Congrats Marc, you deserve this, but you deserve to be in the RNR HOF, but you deserve *_true_* commendations, as well. Although when God summoned for you to perform for Him personally, I guess that's pretty damn good merit. God has great taste in music. RIP).

Born in 67 and my older bro has all these great albums still to this day, several milk crates full of them. Great memories, hanging with him listing to this music.
In 1971 my brother, me and the neighbour used to dress up in mum's clothes, wear her platforms and wig and with our cut out cardboard guitars mime this in front of the class - 50 fecking years later and can still feel the buzz of the kids and our teacher - Miss Crystal - dancing and tearing round the room - stereo turned to 11 and other kids packed around the windows watching. Miss Crystal, you were a cool teacher . .
That guitar riff at the intro still gives me a chill when I hear it, I recall driving my 64 rambler and blasting this song on my 8 track stereo, good times, great memory, this song is due for another remake!

До сих пор помню . Мне уже 60 л. Шедевр. Они ведь ни за кем не повторяли, благиатом не занимались, своё поют. Пионеры в этом деле.
Каждую субботу в семь вечеру на радиоприемнике ВЭФ-201 настраиваю волну на КВ3 и слушаю Юрия Осмаловского. Это был 73-75 год, мне 15/17 лет. Жил на Киевщине. Этот концерт Т,РЭКСа у меня был записан на бабине.
Написал на Голос Америки письмо Юрию Осмоловскому ведущему музыкальной программы со словами благодарности от всех кто жил в его программах живя за Железным занавесом .Мне ответила его жена Шэрон Осмоловская тоже работающая в то время на Голос Америки и там были слова ,что очень был рад ,что его программы нам нравились и пожелал мне успехов на музыкальном поприще. Он ушел с радио и через некоторое время его не стало. Так ,что друзья спасибо ,что помните этих великих людей которые несли нам через эфир музыку и благодаря которым мы остались рокерами на всю жизнь. Да здравствует Рок Ин Ролл.

Aber die gut Zeit neigt sich dem Ende entgegen. Und das gilt nicht nur für die Musik😔.

No offence, I realize that you are saying that T.Rex deserves their accolades, which they (Marc) definitely deserve(s). But RNR HOF is a gimmick. It's an expensive carnival sideshow, with built in hype. It's about selling tickets, more than recognizing the true gods of Rock-N-Roll. As a museum, it makes sense. But as a Hall Of Fame, _and the judge_ of who has a right to be in and who doesn't, *it's a total fail.* Two good things come from T Rex being inducted into the HOF. One, it will happen on my birthday ♉️ 🙌 👏 👍, and 2, people who have not gotten know T Rex, will finally have a better chance. Beyond that, take a look at who is in, and look at who has been passed over. RNRHOF is a business. It's *_NOT_* Rock-N-Roll. *Damn the man, save The Empire!* (Congrats Marc, you deserve this, but you deserve to be in the RNR HOF, but you deserve *_true_* commendations, as well. Although when God summoned for you to perform for Him personally, I guess that's pretty damn good merit. God has great taste in music. RIP).
