A few tips: When you´re cutting with the angle grinder, don´t push hard. Just scribe a line with it first and then gently go deeper. Pushing will only result in the disc jumping and getting worn out very fast. Also, use high quality disc´s, it cheaper in the end and is better for your lungs. That brown dust cloud is typical for cheap disc´s.
    Best regards, Jimmy.

Nice recycling Steve. I prefer the build videos you've been doing recently to the straight product reviews. If you can weave the two together seamlessly like in this video, then so much the better! Love the channel. Particularly the short string of nature-related videos you did a few weeks ago. Cheers from Tasmania, Craig

To cut perfect circle, I actually made a compass jig and attach to the angle grinder to take the top off the keg

Perhaps you could have got an easier hole if you had a wire from the angle grinder to the centre of the top, so that you could cut on fixed radius and just concentrate on keeping the grinder vertical. Interestingly wood burns well with a down draft, no bottom draft needed, although for coal a bottom draft is essential. With a bottom draft wood often burns more quickly and gets hotter, but uses more fuel. With rocket stoves there is a deliberate bottom draft to get speed of burn and with good insulation a very small amount of dry wood will in a rocket stove rapidly boil a kettle. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Steve, a thought for you. The guard on the angle grinder can be adjusted so you can hold it easier. I find it is a lot easier to handle and also safer.
