Beautiful car. It's amazing that you didn't mention the engine-out service required to change the timing belts every 3 - 5 years. That can easily cost around $10K USD depending on what else needs attention while the engine is out. It's one of the reasons these cars had lost so much value until the car market got crazy -- nobody wanted to deal with hassle and expense.

great video Marco i completely agree on everything as I approach almost 1 year owning my 1995 F355 Berlinetta. It is a totally unique experience and I love it and working on it and finding the parts and restoring things is all part of the fun for me. New modern Ferrari cars all you do is fuel up and wash them the older ones are more special to be a caretaker and appreciate the vintage and respect the car for what is it, truly analog.

Marco be careful when you are free revving a engine to the red line with out it being under load. That is the perfect recipe for many issues number one being cracking the headers.

3:11 You can only turn off the ABS on Euro cars ;) Tip: Update your old power steering reservoir cap before it splits and fluid spills all over exhaust system.

Great video once again, great car, different philosophy than the 456 but wow, what a beautiful baby. You who got to drive both the 456 and the 355, wich one would you buy if you had to choose only one?

Thanks! I'd keep my F355 but I reckon the 456 is amazing to drive. If I had to buy a V12-powered Ferrari I'd go for the 599, I simply love it

On the headers issue, would it be a good idea to go with aftermarket headers instead, to avoid the cracking headers issue and also to boost sound and performance. If I had to own one I wouldnt care if the exhaust was original.

Jesus, I owned a F33 GTS also only for about one year. Fortunately the cam belt change done just before. But I did not know about the header problem. Thank God I sold it before for a good price. Now I own a Porsche 993 (the last air cooled 911) I don't regret it since I bought this three years ago...

Marco, you look far too young to be able to afford a Ferrari! Did you win the lottery in Italy? Haha, only joking. So nice that you appreciate these beautiful cars, even with their shortcomings...engine out for the cambelts etc etc. I owned my 355 for over 10 years and sold it for more than twice what I paid for it. As I mentioned to my wife, the cheapest car I have ever owned! She loves her Skoda Fabia but she isn't going to make a profit on it. Keep up the good work, meanwhile I'm just off for a little drive in my 456...Cheers from a (very cold) Otford, Kent, UK.
