Chuck looked like he had already made his decision when she asked. He didn't exactly look as thrilled as would've been expected. Now why he wouldn't have just told her at that point, I don't really know
Amen. Chuck told her he was crazy about her, that she was everything he was looking for and more, etc but he had a hard time saying ILY. Perhaps because he was not sure those feelings were reciprocated. Sarah was pretty closed off. Even after Chuck said ILY, it took a while for Sarah to say it.
@@SteveFresca-qk1vdI meant in regards to not running away with her in Prague. The expression on Chuck's face seemed to say "Oh, so NOW you tell me?!" So why he waited to tell her he wouldn't run away with her, is a bit confusing
@@ErikLeber-td7oj I don't think so. Even when Sarah asked him to run away, she still never said how she felt about him. It was really about protecting him. That was her mistake. Of course, he would say he would run away with her, it was his dream come true. Unfortunately, the CIA got to him and convinced him that he was obligated to become their superspy, that he could help save the world. His not going wasn't so much a rejection of her, but a journey away from his loser image. She didn't see it that way at all until she saw the speech in the vault.
Just watching this series 12 years after it ended. I would definitely pay to see the movie if they ever make it.
