I remember my mom taking me to see this when it came out. She was a huge swartzenegger fan.
I love that, when the Terminators cross paths to get to John, both themes play at the same time. The metallic clanging music (symbolizing the T-800) and the smooth but slightly rough score (symbolizing the T-1000). Very nice touch!
True
I love how smooth and fluid the T-1000's melody is compared to the T-800's, where it sounds more methodical and metallic.
And the part at 2:07 were the T-800 tells John to "get down," before shooting his gun? Instant indicator that the T-800 is the good guy.
*Parents, when you show your children this amazing film, PLEASE DO NOT SPOIL WHO IS GOOD AND WHO IS EVIL*
Your comment just made me envision an alternate cut of the film where the T800 is still trying to kill John 🤣🤣🤣
@@Tomfoolery1972 Awesome! lol
and show them the first movie before
The Bad to the Bone scene spoils it anyway. Stupid music is played for comedy

Get Down!

Oohhhh ahhhh uuhhhh
John Screams

[ T-800 shoots the truck testing the range of its aim ]
This score reminded me so much about the two Terminators going at it in a lobby...damn it was so visceral and memorable in the theater.
One of my favorite things about listening to this song isolated is noticing when the hero music shows up. The song is drama and tension until 7:28 then the hero music kicks in and the situation is resolved in just 45 seconds!! 😂 just another reminder of how cool Arnold is in all of his movies.
the up and down humming gets me
5:28 I think we all know what happens here 🤣🤣🤣 🚛💥
Oh yeah. And they only had one shot at it as well, as their filming permit expired about 15 mins before they did it lol
the real "GUNS N' ROSES "
So powerful, amazing, perfect...
7:27 🔥
I’m so glad there’s a new version of this in Terminator Resistance
In the early days when they were writing the story, James Cameron and William Wisher were throwing the idea around of having the T-1000 look like Arnold, or rather the Model 101.
The T-1000 being a prototype, Skynet used the 101 pattern in its database.
5:47 Truck moment
"GET DOWN!" (shotgun blast)
John, there's this cop scoping for you, check it out... Just bullet man, go!
Hey, do you know John Connor?
Hey man I thought I saw that kid you were-(gets shoved like an afterthought)-Hey!
@@punisherborn Tim is SO lucky he didn't get impaled Cryoco-Truck-Driver-style. 😬
Think it was "Just book it, man"
Like later on when John says to Miles Dyson "Let's book"
@@Tomfoolery1972 correct
best movie ever made and no one comes close
Oooo ahhhh uuuuh!
You can almost hear the FRIEGHTLINER and the HONDA 2-Stroke and the H/D 4-Stroke🔥

Had to look up what you were referring to and holy shit! Haha! What a hilariously neat detail.
