    I’ve been on Dr. William Davis’s Sibo yogurt for 29 days so far and I can attest that before I started resolving the Sibo problem, I definitely constantly had a bad taste in my mouth.

      Have you found it’s helping other symptoms too? Thanks for sharing!

      Oh my goodness, I can’t even describe to you how life-changing this has been!
      I’ve had IBS since I was 28 years old and I’m 71
      For 10 straight days, I’ve had normal poops and no diarrhea
      And I have been suffering with very bad heartburn for eight months
      Through everything at it over-the-counter, and my doctor only threw pharmaceutical PPIs at me, which made me horribly nauseous
      And I didn’t take for more than one day
      I no longer have heartburn 24 seven and I have normal poops and I have a clarity in my brain that I haven’t had for a long time and I just feel happier
      Highly recommend !

    I heard that bad breath can be caused by parasites so my next steps will be to get a stool test. I feel very bad and shy away from people because it really bad!

    Great information. Factual, actual, informed. Personal case that validates most information on your channel. For years i suffered with gut issues caused by antybiotics. Doctors always told me my skin issues had nothing to do with food. It did. I also had bad breath, irregular bowel movements, etc.
    Once i regulated food, by removing processed foods, my skin improoved, that led me in a search for cause, and i found that skin wasnt the issue, it was the result of gut problems. Sibo, candida, leaky gut, caused mast cell, histamine, and other intolerances that then let to skin issues. Not yet solved, but proper food, plus probiotics, plus supplements to balance the foods that went out, are helping me return to normal. Small things. Like, much better skin, no longer having bad breath, being able to eat a fucking croissant without issues. But this will take a while. Healing the gut doesnt take weeks, it takes years. I dont mind. I had issues for 30 years and it only started to get better when i stopped listening to doctors!

    Should you avoid boulardii if you're allergic to yeast?

    • @DrRuscioDC
      @DrRuscioDC  23 години тому +1

      Yes, since it’s a yeast-based probiotic, it’s safest not to use it in that case

    Do the triple probiotics you recommend typically sit well for those with histamine issues ?
    Ive been trying one strain at a time and still get dizzy, wondering if I should just go for the triple and see...

    I was diagnosed with SIBO 6 years ago, and HPV 4 years ago. What supplements can I take to help eliminate them both?

    What about taking L. reuteri?

    • @DrRuscioDC
      @DrRuscioDC  12 годин тому +1

      Reuteri is a great probiotic to help SIBO, especially if you deal with constipation

    I have bad breath, tonsils stones as well ! I do get dental cleaning Q6 months, and floss everyday. My diet is pretty good focus on meats, seafood and poultry. I do get good quality carbs like sweet potatoes, pumpkin and cruciferous vegetables .

      You might want to increase your fermented food intake and B1 foods.

    Why I always heard probiotics are awful when having sibo ?

    • @DrRuscioDC
      @DrRuscioDC  12 годин тому

      It’s somewhat individual. For some, taking probiotics can be like “adding fuel to the fire,” but for others, probiotics are instrumental in reducing populations of bad bacteria and promoting good ones. They’re especially helpful after antimicrobial therapies, helping the microbiome rebound. It really depends on the person, but studies do support their efficacy

    There’s no way I could eat a cup of sour kraut or kimchee. Maybe 1/4 c on the side. I appreciate your reporting on the studies.

      They’re not everyone’s taste, but it’s good to try to incorporate probiotic-rich foods as you’re able

    Is there a reason to start with a lower number of billions of CFU or not really? Can I do for example 25 billion CFU and after a few months do a 5 billion CFU probiotic without jeopardizing efficacy?

    • @DrRuscioDC
      @DrRuscioDC  12 годин тому +1

      Sorry, just want to make sure I understand - do you mean increasing or decreasing the dose? It sounds like you’d step down from 25 billion to 5 billion, which would be starting with a higher number

    • @script23
      @script23 5 годин тому

      @@DrRuscioDCYes. Is taking your first course of probiotics ever at a higher CFU (25b) going to make 5b CFU ineffective at some later time because our body adapted, meaning you should never decrease the dose?
