Highway Code Rule 64 of the Highway Code states that cyclists must not cycle on a pavement. Highway Act Section 72 of the Highway Act 1835 prohibits "wilfully riding" on footpaths.
@@MrRfholmes lived in Wallasey, I know the roads. Sadly cycling on pavements is common place in many places. It does not make it right or lawful, infact it is dangerous to pedestrians.
@ At what point(s) do you consider I was putting pedestrians in danger? (bearing in mind the video is on double speed and there were barely any pedestrians on any footpaths) On the contrary, I would have put myself and other drivers in more danger had I not used footpaths at various points. Here’s a word from our sponsors: “Cycling UK believes that it is acceptable for cyclists to use footpaths, provided they do so in a manner which respects the safety of other path users and their peaceful enjoyment of the outdoors”
Cant wait to come home again

Thanks pal. You've obviously never cycled around Wallasey. It's commonplace. I invite you to go inform someone who gives a fuck.
