My main racquet since 2015 is blade v5 98s 18x16. It was a love at first play. When you put Luxilon 4G 1.25 in it, it’s like a match made in heaven.
I imagine that the 4g is giving you the control that you miss because of the 18x16?
@@AlexTennisChannel yeap. It tones it down and hits the sweet spot. Slice is still floaty but you can’t have it all. It’s a racquet with the power of pure aero, thin to swing through the air and almost 98 inch control. It has it almost all! And unfortunately it’s sold only in Europe. It’s very popular.

4G is a pretty stiff string, great string, but naturally stiff… What tension did you use?

Hello Alex I have the V Cell 8 300 grs, it is worth updating to the Vostra with that greater oscillating weight?
Hi! Maybe it’s time to update!! The new Vöstra is a bit easier to play with and one thing that I like is that the weight is not feeling too heavy even with the 315g it’s fast trough the air! Thanks for watching 🎾🎾
Hi Alex, I’m a tennis coach in London and I have always played with the v sense and v cell 315gr. I tried the new Vostra 8 300gr but I was quite disappointed. Would you say that the vostra 8 315gr is much better? Thank you

How was the 300g for serving?! Flat and slice were easily achievable? I appreciate you demoing each of the new Vostra’s … it was recently recommended, but I’m going to steer clear of the 315 because of arm issues caused from the Pure Drive 98 ☹️
Really good! Not a lot of weight but a lot of easy power!! I haven’t try the Drive 98 but I’ve heard that it’s very stiff. Thanks for watching 🎾🎾
@@AlexTennisChannel Thanks Alex… between the 300 & 285, was there a noticeable difference in swing weight or serving power?
I ended up restringing my PD98 with Hyper G Soft 19s at 50lbs and it was night and day. A lot more forgiving… definitely more control, and it feels more balanced. Unsure if I’m going to hold onto it, but I’m curious to see what Babalot does with the updated Pure Drive towards the end of the year.

For me the Vcore 100 is the best overall racquet but the extreme is really good for spin and the Vöstra 8 is in between those two racquet! Thanks for watching 🎾🎾
