How would you compare this to Confidential?

Hello Alex, I am looking for a racket with low stiffness (arm and shoulder injury) What would be your ranking between those rackets : Head gravity tour 98 2025, Yonex Precept 97, Pro Kennex Q+ tour? My favorit racket is the Pro staff 97L but my arm cannot handle it

Hey Alex. Used your code at Tenniszon to get the Ezone 98 V8. My current string is Grapple Snake Tour M8 but feels it’s too soft for the Ezone. I actually want something crispy, spinny and control to complement the Ezone. What do you think if I do 1.20 gauge? Or do you suggest a different string? I was going to also try Lynx Tour but I hear it’s heavy. Part of the reason I wanted the Ezone is because of the 6pts HL.

Great review! Head makes two of my fav. strings, the Velocity MLT and Lynx Tour. I've been curious to hybrid these two with Lynx Tour in the mains and Velocity in the crosses to soften it up.

Use a stiffer co-poly (Dunlop Explosive Power 16 or 17 for example), it will bring back some feel and pop to the frame.

Where would you rank it compared to Speed MP 2024 and Ezone 100 2025?

I like that racquet. It enables ppl to play tennis who are actually out for whatever reason. And getting ppl pn the court is the way to go, so good job to Wilson. The progressive stiffness is actually a good thing. Maybe only on paper, but the concept looks appealing. Now get a soft, but progressive stiffness in a more competitive frame, that would be nice. Although I wouldn't switch anyway.

Got this racket. It's a beast ⚡Sweet spot is a bomb. Powerful too. Mine is strung with Volkl Cyclone 1.25 @ 26kg. ❤

Currently I’ve got head attitude mx suprm but it’s far too light for me now (275g) and I’ve tested 2023 vcore 98 I love it sm I’m getting it next month it fits my play style so well I’ll probably get it restrung with like 50lbs tension not sure what strings probably use the recommended ones keep the frame standard no lead tape put on a really tacky head or yonex over grip I’ll just use the ones that are in my bag rn idk what there called but I like them.

Been using a Clash 98 V2 for a couple of months to help keep me on court following a shoulder injury. Very underrated racket, it has plenty of comfort and control, maybe just lacking a bit of power. Just purchased a Vcore 98 and used it for the first time tonight. Felt good so might be my racket of choice moving forwards as I tend to like most Yonex frames!!!! Keep up the great work Coach Alex!!!

I want to try the Bab Aero 98. I have the Head Extreme Pro 2024. Love it. Great balance and can control its spin very well. And I think it plays better without a dampener.

You should also try dunlop sx300 tour. Insane spin.

Extreme Pro simply has nicer feel imo, I was using Lynx Tour at 52lbs and just been using Hawk Touch the last few weeks and I’m preferring it as it’s far softer on my arm and really has tremendous grip and power with beautiful pocketing..People say the only negative is that it’s tension maintenance isn’t great, but I string my own racquets so that’s not a concern and on top I really like the spongy feel once the tension dies a bit, still has great rip at low tension

What string and tension do you recommend for de extreme pro??

I’ve heard many saying that the aero is more powerful and I’d say absolutely not. I have both mine with tour bite 1.30 at 55 lbs which is nuts to me but it’s what it takes to control it sometimes. I may need a dead string like confidential or hawk touch. Both rackets with 1.30 tour bite came in at 326 329 sw. I’ll be bumping it down but a lighter string and high tension. It’s super powerful and I also tried lynx tour and that controlled the power more then tour bite at 1.25. But I agree this racket is crazy powerful if you want to attack with spin because it does bring the ball down. Pure aero is a little more loopy and extreme pro is little more drive and it may because the extreme pro is slightly more trampoline like and the ball comes out with a punch and then drops vs a more reactive pure aero where you hit a loopy shot. The extreme pro is definitely more a flat hitting with top spin vs getting under it which you can do also. This is all my opinion based off the strings I used.

Good review. I am a 4.0 NTRP player. I am 5'7" tall and 40 yrs old and after playing with Blade 98 for 3 years, I think I need a more easy racket to play with. I am confused between Ezone 98/100 vs Vcore 100/98 but I think I will go for the Vcore 100 in the end.

So vcore 98 is not good?

Your video footage doesn't look like any lack of pace. Body rotation, arm movement, everything looks OK, so why is there a lack of power? I would (of course) go with the PA, although I haven't ever considered Babolat as racquets of choice. But the less power output, the better for me.
