I cried when I first listened. The song is so real and emotional. He wrote it to get it out of his chest he once said. It's to help people who lost someone
The actual video was kinda emotional for us because Joannah was the most supportive and out there mum of all boys in the band with Harry's mum Anne, both of them actually became bestfriends. Her presence in social platforms, supporting the boys online and in shows. Supporting charities. We got to see a lot of her and their family. So it was a bit hard. Whereas this version was heartwarming, I couldn't stop smiling the first time I saw it. It was so heart warming. I bet that his mum was proud and Pat was smiling down at Richard as well ! As a fan, all this makes you proud and happy to know that you stan the right man. And as for the entire album. It's actually emotional. Every song holds an emotion. I'll put down a list below in the comments !
Kill my mind - this track is bit different from others musically. But he says this type of music is what he wants to do in the future. Don't let it break your heart - to have hope regardless of what life throws at you. Two of us - for his mum We made it - for the fans and him. As he feared that going solo is not best idea but he made it ! We made it (fans and him) Too young - for his partner. They met when they were too young. 18 and breaking and making mistakes. Giving into the pressure etc Walls- for his partner but he also talks about being in 1D and letting it go. Habit - for his partner. The only thing he can't shake off. He/she is something that he needs. Loving him/her is a habit at this point. Always you - anywhere in the world you may go but he still keeps seeing his/her face eventhough his/her is not with him. Fearless - to his younger self. Perfect now - to his fans. Defenceless - to himself. Only the brave - this song is an LGBTQ+ anthem as far I'm concerned. He might or might not be part of that community but fans of the community relate to it and this song has actually inspired many fans to come out !
@@indirapriyadarshini3397 Thanks for the rundown of the tracks and meaning behind them thats really really cool🙌🏻 and yeah Louis did a great deed with this video and with everything he does for others in general🖤💯
I don’t know how people do it I always cry.. I mean the song is already really touching and emotional and the video doesn’t help it just really incredible what Louis did, he made Richard so happy goshh
This is just one of the best thing Louis has done. He has a kind heart. That's one of the reason we love him soo much When I first heard the song, and many times after, I think about my grandmother. She passed away before my dad's marriage so I wasn't even conceived when she died. But everyone tells me I look just like her so "you're written in my DNA" hits home to me. Her brother had never met me and he told me he recognised me the first time he saw me coz I looked just like his sister. I personally don't think I look the same as her coz she was beautiful and everyone said she was one of the kindest people they'd met. So I, many times, think of her at nights when I can't sleep. We have a picture of her and my granddad. He never talks about her that much but I hear about her from others. And looking forward to meeting her one day in heaven if that's where I'm going.
Louis has really done a beautiful job with this ode to his mom. He said he wanted to make this relatable as well to help others going through their grieving process. Thanks for reacting to this mv.
Thank you for reacting to this video! I think it's beautiful and show what a big heart Louis has. It's a side of him that not many people know about. Media likes to talk about the bad boy Louis while ignoring things like this. One Direction and all the boys did and still do a lot of charity and Louis did a lot of it with his mum. With this video he highlights the need for donations for Alzeimers and Cancer research as well as donations for the Bluebell Wood childrens hospital that Louis has been a supporter of since 2012. Louis lost his mum to lukemia in Dec. 2016. It was very agressive and she lost the battle only 9-10 months after her diagnosis. :( No, I'm not a cryer really and so didn't cry when I first heard the song. But I think by the fourth time... the song just suddenly hit me and I teared up. I was thinking about my parents and had just put myself in his place and got so emotional. I still have my parents with me but you know, they're getting to that age. Just 5 years younger than Richard here. This is the most vulnerable song he's done. The one that gets me most emotional. Some of his other songs are about heartbreak over breakups and regrets perhaps which is sad but he is also very good with the message that things will get better. Most of his songs are very relatable IMO.
I had a much more difficult time with watching Louis performance of Just Hold On, which he did 3 days after she died. I was still in shock over the news and with the way I "knew" his mum (and his family), that's when I actually cried. And that song wasn't written about his mum but the lyrics and the songs message does make you feel that it could have been.
Thanks for sharing some of that info, i really appreciate it as usual🙌🏻..and aye maybe it'll be the same for me and it gets me later..but yeah relatable music is almost always good music so im glad to hear all that about his subject matter :)
This song makes me cry every time when I hear it. That's why it's the only Lou's song that's not in my playlist. If you watch an edit of him & his mum, and this song on the background you will realise your tears are falling down. ~ Rest in Peace Beautiful Angel Jay ~
I love your reaction. I think that this is his most emotional song he has ever done. I did not cry the first couple of times I listen to it but I did cry on my 3or 4time. On the bucket list video I cried the first time I got very emotional. I just love seeing people do nice things for others out of the kindest of their heart.
