- How to swop out the fuel filter on a VW T4 van, this is an ABL engine model, but they are all the same.

Does anyone know what size the hoses are that go directly on the filter? ID and OD? Mine look to be perished and in need of replacement
Cut a tiny short bit off the end of one and bring it to the auto factors. or if they are moulded bent hoses just search on the internet for the part?

you are supposed to fill it with some diesel before pupping it back in to avoid air in the fuelline, but otherwise good job😊
Yes. I heard that too never tried it. It always works empty. Same for oil filters.

Yeah I had an abl run the filter dry once and had to bleed the injectors

But heavy handed your end up causing a split or damage to the fixed fuel connector pulling it about like that !
