I always say to them, remember who controls the Supreme Court. Sure most of this is illegal but you’re relying on the court to stop it and call it illegal. And when 6 of the 9 are currently members of the same hate group Heritage Foundation, it’s difficult to say they would stop something they themselves helped write.
Some of these videos are really terrible, too, especially their opinion on immigrants. They're trying to prevent kids from coming to the US looking for a better home, kids! My husband is a first-generation immigrant from Mexico. He is a person and should never be called an allien. Neither should anyone else.

I just learned an interesting tidbit about these guys in an older feminist book I’m reading, Backlash by Susan Faludi. The Heritage Foundation is not at all new. In fact, they wrote a Manifesto for the 1981 election of Ronald Reagan, which I think was a somewhat watered down version of Project 2025, which is why he cut a lot of spending for the Department of Education (which ushered in the colloquially called “the Dumbing Down of America” which, apparently, was pretty successful). They knew that less educated people are easier to manipulate, hence trump saying, “I love the poorly educated”. And god only knows what else Reagan implemented during his tenure as President. It was interesting to see in this video an actual person from Reagan’s Administration as one of the members of Project 2025. So, they’ve been working in this for many, many years, and 2025 is the culmination of their authoritarian dreams. I’m also very glad you brought up that the plan is for ANY conservative President we might have in the future. I’ve been saying that, even if trump were to die tomorrow, they have it all set up for his replacement. And, keep in mind that they want to take control over every single elected office in the country- complete control. So, when you vote, be sure to vote blue for every single office on the ballot, from justices to school boards (you know, those folks banning books in schools) to dog catcher. We have to spread this information everywhere, and stomp out this dictatorial plan as completely as possible. Vote like our democracy depends on it, because it does. It absolutely does. 💙

I was seriously baffled too and then watching a handful of videos realized his supporters are all facists, bigots and religious zealots. [yes i know theres an overlap] there are also videos that compare things Trump says that are disturbingly similar to what Hitler touted. They want a dictatorship, to make everyone thats not an alpha male to be subservient or obsolete. It terrifies me that some claim its just another stupid election.
